They work.
I only needed one of these locks to replace one that had broken. They are cheaply made so I will hold on to the extras, just in case. These were the right size and they so work smoothly. No complaints about color and size.

My son created a dice box in Shop Class but needed a closure small enough to fit. Found these, and they are a bit larger than expected, but easy to 'install' and they look great.

Cheap, thin, and hollow, not designed for strain or durability
These are thin, light weight, low quality metal, and a poor value. The description of these is deceptive and says: "..great for... heavy duty wooden box.. toolbox etc.. made of high-quality zinc alloy, thickened, solid, stronger than iron lock on the market..." You will see that the photos for this listing do *not* show the back sides and do *not( reveal the thin, hollow nature of these. I feel tricked. The description implies this are thick and durable but these are far, far from that. These are thin metal, very light weight, and not designed for any real duty. Additionally, the latches do not swivel smoothly, they lag along as if there is a cheap, low quality connection between the swivel and body. At best these are for very light cosmetic duty only. You will see other listings for SOLID parts that use the EXACT same wording. i would NOT buy these again and I believe the listing is deceiving.
