Perfect AMP for my multi-room professional office
This was just what I was looking for. The 4-channel output matched the speaker set-up I pre-wired when I built my office space years ago. I was using a 4-channel speaker selector switch with two prior stereo receivers that eventually died. Tremendous feature set for the price and the unit is a very solid substantial piece of gear. The Bluetooth (a game changer compared to the old equipment) was easy to pair with my iPhone. I the FM radio section was surprisingly sensitive and picked up many stations with the included basic mono-wire antennae. I only listen to one FM station, so fortunately the previously tuned station stays tuned when the input mode changes. The volume could be way louder than my needs and sound quality was fine. One review mentioned, tight, not smooth volume control knobs of channels A B C D. I noticed that on a couple of mine but noticed that the knobs were pushed on a bit too much and contacting the face of the unit. Pulling the knobs outward (as if to remove them) fixed that and the smooth rotation of each knob was realized. I was curious as to the energy used so I measured the watts with a meter. As expected, the watts varied with volume: Plenty loud was around 30w, with ~20w for normal low background music. "Cranked" was close to 100w and probably unpleasant for most. A more energy efficient replacement in my situation.

good unit, for basic use
Bought this for a shop radio, and it works just as it should. With AM/FM choice and Bluetooth everyone can use it. Outputs sound good enough for what i use it for, and the price was another selling point. I know this can do a lot more the what i use it for, so better it does and not need, then having something that doesn't do enough.

Lasted only 1 year
I waited to review this PTA44BT (4 channels) because I was somewhat skeptical (After all, this is a great price for what you're getting). WELL, you get what you pay for and sometimes you eat the bear or the bear eats you. I've been DJing for over 30 years, so I'm not stranger to the audio industry. If you research the reviews, most are made within a few months of the purchase (which is why you get a high amount of 4 & 5 stars. I, on the hand, waited to give my review because I've learned through experience that ANY electronic unit only can by measured by time (no unit sounds good if it doesn't work). My setup was simple... I was using bluetooth with Alexa to play music to my speakers in the livingroom (3 channels and the sub were connected). This unit initially worked exceptional and the added mic inputs were real nice. But, that didn't last long. I began to have some problems about a 1 1/2 year into ownership. Strange hissing noises began to come from the speakers when no music was playing. Usually, it's a sign of interference and your speaker wires not insulated well enough. Because of my background in music, I can eliminate this as the problem. Also, sometimes interference can occur within your power connection, this was also not the case. This noise began to occur more and more often and the music began to sound somewhat distorted. Others didn't notice the difference, but I knew for certain something was wrong. However, it didn't bother anyone else... so I ignored it. Slowly it began to occur more and more until I began to second guess myself and changed ALL the wires and made sure nothing else was plugged into that circuit. Still, it got worse until yesterday when the unit itself began to screech and no sound other than the sub was playing. This is a sign that the channels are blown. I looked into the unit and the fan had stop working. ANY electronics create heat and sensitive electronics hates heat. Fans are the conventional way to cool them down. Now, I know this wasn't the fan which started the problems, but it was the fan that ended the problems. My advice is to spend more money a get a quality amp for your application. I do not recommend this product!

Sounds good. Non intuitive display
The good: sounds great and can run 4 sets of speakers and control their volume separately. It’s compact and it has mic inputs for 2 karaoke mics. It sounds pretty good. Excellent price. The not as good: instructions are not great and the operation is not intuitive. So I dug in so wanted to share how this thing actually works. The mode switch only switches between BT and FM. BT only works if the input switched to the MP3 setting. Moving the input from MP3 to DVD to Aux toggles between them. BUT - the display never changes and there is no indicator on the selector dial so you just have to position it by feel. This works whether the unit is in BT or FM mode. FM - has external antenna which is needed for it to work. In FM mode hit the play button to scan FM stations. There is no option for manual tuning. For the price it suits what I need it for. I left at 4 stars due to instructions being lacking, non intuitive display and lack manual FM tuning.

Great Product
Fast shipping. I have used Pyle products before and always had great service from the products I have ordered. I just had this amp delivered and won’t have a chance to test it out yet but I know it will be fine. If there would be a problem I know Pyle stands behind their products.

I love this unit
I use this for my outdoor sound system. I store it in the bar shed. Works great. I can increase the volume around the pool while the filter is running while lowering by the table. I keep an extra phone with internet connectivity only to connect to this unit using bluetooth. Anyone can change the music that way. Works perfectly.
