Works ok. Just make sure you need self taping screws in your car. Don't know what the square inserts are for. Didn't use them. Caps are chrome plated plastic but they appear well made with good coating. Will see how long it lasts.

I've replaced all the black logos and emblems on my 91 Corvette with chrome ones. These chrome license plate screw covers are a perfect accent and blends in well with the rest.

Just wanted to let anyone know that these chrome caps are a perfect fit and match exactly the chrome caps on a 2017 Audi Q7. The plastic retainer ring on just one screw on my front license plate deteriorated on this car in only 3 years and the chrome cap fell off. I replaced it with this product using the original screw and the chrome cap is an exact match. Took about 3 minutes to fix.

Dumb me, I should have been more careful and compared the screw size to the ones that came with the car. As I was screwing these in place they got pretty hard to turn and then SNAP, the receiving end in the car broke free so now I'm stuck with floppy screws in the plate. I cannot get behind the plate to secure the receiving end and it now turns with the screw so I am not able to tighten the screw or loosen them out. Luckily it was only two (should have only been one, I know... persistent to a fault. Got two "in" before I fully grasped what the problem was) so I have two good screws (that came with the car) holding the plate securely in place and two floppy ones that will rattle around and get on my nerves. I will eventually devise a way to get them out and remedy the problem but if you own a Tesla, these will NOT work for you.

Our province just eliminated the need for the front license plate, so I wanted something to plug their holes in our white and black vehicles. This did the trick and looks great!

Product is best suited for American vehicles; the screws did not fit my Acura which requires metric screws.
