The dark almond is delicious and rich, on the sweet side for dark chocolate, which I like. Probably the best dark almond I've had. I originally bought it on Amazon for $8, which was already high. If it goes back down to that I'd probably get it again.

We had this while in New Zealand. We also had their Artisan Collection bars while there and wish we could order those as well! Great chocolate!

VERY Tasty!
Found it in Singapore (only S$7) and since then it's been one of my most favorite dark chocolate brands. VERY tasty, not too sweet and not too bitter either. The almonds make it nicer. For me, compared to the other flavors of Whittaker, this is the best!!

Excellent Chocolate!
Brought several bars back from a visit to New Zealand. Rated by relatives in NZ as "top of the line". I think this chocolate rate with the best in the USA. (Of course this is much cheaper in country.)

Whittaker's "Almond Gold" is their milk chocolate offering, but this is DARK chocolate
The quality and taste of this chocolate is undeniable (IYKYK). The one thing that derailed a perfect experience is that the image shown for this product is for the "Almond Gold" chocolate bar which is made with MILK chocolate. What was delivered (and admittedly what is described in the text of the offering) was almonds with DARK chocolate. I thought I was buying the milk chocolate bars (what I wanted). I should've looked closer, but I also believe the seller should not be using an image of a different product for this particular item. BTW...for those who do like dark chocolate, you will not be disappointed.
