Lane Home Furnishings Allegro Heat & Massage Rocker Recliner

It was comfortable enough, but it broke after just 6 weeks. I finally got ahold of Lane and they said they would ship me a new base that I can install myself. I am disabled and my husband is 70 years old with kidney cancer. I asked for some help and she sent my info to a company that could come 2 months from then. I ordered the chair in late December it was delivered Feb 4th it broke on March 15. I am still waiting for the part. Amazon did a stellar job and refunded me the purchase price but I am still waiting for part to come from Tupelo to Topeka Ks. Been waiting for over 3 months to get this part.

This recliner is extremely comfortable! The pewter color is beautiful. It is huge & perfect for big guys. I can see why some reviewers have a problem with the foot rest. Not sure if it was a mistake but the center of gravity when sitting in the chair is slightly off. When sitting you lean back a bit more than other recliners which is why it’s more difficult to bring the footrest back down. Perhaps this is why the price is so good for such a quality piece of furniture. It is very well built. Vibration & heat work fine so far.

Have had this chair for almost a year now. I will say it is very comfortable. Nice size. You have to use the handle to lower the leg rest, impossible to just push it down with your legs. Massage is very good. The biggest complaint I have is the heat does not work. Never has. I just figured it would be too much hassle to send it back. Overall it is a great chair.

Hi. I am 6'5" 260lbs. I received 1/10/2020. The recliner could be a little bigger for me. It is fairly comfortable just a little tight because if my size. As others have said the release lever is very hard for even me to move. The massage works great on the back of the seat. Can't feel it at all on the seat. The heat function can't be felt at all. A slight snapping noise can be heard when I move at times. The reliner looks awsome however. The fabric will last forever. The pewter color would match any room.

The fabric on the recliner is a good quality. The color is appealing. The heat was non existent. The massage feature was so loud I had to turn up the volume on the TV. The massaging was mostly in the area of the upper back and not so much in the lumbar region where I need it the most. The handle on my chair became loose after a couple of weeks. The recliner started off with the ability to lock into position and then it started to move whenever I would try to change position. It also started rocking forward in the reclining position causing me to almost fall out. As a senior, this can be very dangerous. I also had to add a pillow in the bottom of the chair because at the base of the seat, there is less padding and sinks down making this recliner very uncomfortable. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and returned the recliner.

I spent HOURS online looking for the perfect recliner for my family. I thought I picked a winner. It had all the features I wanted and had good reviews. I got free shipping, even though I had to wait a few weeks for delivery. The first time I sat in it, it was okay, but I could hardly get the recliner arm to move. I have arthritis in my right had, too, which adds insult to injury. As expected, when I wanted to get up, the foot rest wouldn't close properly and the recliner arm was stuck too. I have to admit it was probably hilarious to watch, but I was not enjoying it! I received the chair 3 days ago and just noticed today that in addition to the mechanical issues, the staples are coming out of the upholstery in a few places. I'm pretty sure this chair was not inspected before it was shipped. You'll take your chances if you buy this, considering UPS won't pick it up, it's 120 lbs., and the buyer is expected to return it at their own expense!

I came home the day it was delivered to find my q8 year old son trying out the massage and her functions. His verdict. This is the most comfortable chair ever. And this is my favorite chair ever. I’m taking it with me (this was news to me) when I move into my apartment. The color is great...a perfect shade of charcoal. The fabric is sturdy and appears like it will be durable. Overall...even though I’ll only have it a few months...thanks to my son taking it....it was a great purchase. I will be buying 2 more shortly. 2 pieces in one box About 3 minutes to put together. Instant gratification

The chair is very firm and feels like I am leaning forward when I am sitting down. Overall the chair is pretty good. I love the color and the size is great for a man. The heat and massage are nice also.
