with a crossbow having it level makes the shots mor uniform like all in the same spot. Now I have to be careful not to damage the arrows already in the target.

    There is no such thing as a "Weaver style dovetail"...

....they are two different things. I expected a Dovetail and got a Weaver. Too wide for a standard Dovetail mount so I'm saving it for a different gun I'll get in 30 days. Quality looks exceptional on this thing. I like it!

This is a high quality part but if you expect it to fit your rifle grooves you'll be out of luck unless you have a 20mm rail or plan to put one on.
