Get this instead of buying cartridges one at a time
If you need this buy it. It works as intended and costs entirely too much. Buying the multi pack helps bring down the cost per cartridge

Ordered the wrong ones. Opened the packages before realizing my error. Just tossed them. But all were in fine shape!

I might have to start looking for generic alternatives
I have bought the same cartridge through Amazon three times. This is the second time that there was very little ink produced from this cartridge. I bought this cartridge a month ago and I may have printed out 20 pages and my computer is already telling me to replace my cartridge. I will never buy ink cartridges from these people again through Amazon. This is supposed to come from Brother through Amazon sale but I'm tired of paying $40 for one cartridge and it has this effect. Maybe I should start thinking about buying generic cartridges. I think that when these cartridges are sold through Amazon and supplied by brother, they must look through their inventory and find the oldest cartridges that they have in stock and send those. This is over $80 worth in two cartridges that have failed. I tried contacting brother today but they said their offices are closed so I'm assuming they're just Monday through Friday and they do not have any 24-hour help. I'm going to look at some of the reviews to see if other people have had the same problem. If brother correct this and sends me a new cartridge that is good then I will come back and edit and add to these comments. The quality and the value for that quality is terrible for this cartridge that I received. The compatibility is spot on

The message "Cannot Detect" has appeared on the display of the Brother machine after installing the ink cartridge which I understand means its either broken, damaged or a non-Brother cartridge.
