You install it by download their app, follow instructions to connect to your WiFi (I did have to reset my WiFi one time), name your light, and, voila! I use a google home connection to turn it on, dim it, change the colors, and when sleepy time arrives, tell it to shut down. I use mine in the bedroom so it’s awesome if I have to get up for anything at night, and I can voice activate it as I enter the room for safety. The app will tell you what systems it is compatible with, which is pretty much all of them by my count. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice product not so nice directions *by Z***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2019* These work very well once you get them up and running. Everything from soft white to daylight looks and a huge color spectrum possible. I took one star off because the way the directions want you to get these to hook up to Alexa is insane. I set these up on my Note9 and I am guessing Apple has this same app. Download the Smart Life App and activate it in your Echo app. The directions have you using a different phone app and doing some convoluted steps to get the Echo to register it. The Smart Life App set up the bulb and my Echo app automatically found it. Much easier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value Product *by K***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021* Took them out of the box and went straight to the instructions. Pretty clear as to how to put the bulbs in pair mode and how to add them to the Lamp UX app. Only hiccup was the instructions stating to change your router settings for the wifi. I chose to not do that since mine broadcasts the same wifi name for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz and it didn't find them on the first attempt, but had no issues on second attempt. Added the skill in my Amazon Alexa app and found both devices with no issues. I have seen reviews stating that you can't change the colors with Alexa and that is not true. You can say the command to set a specific color and it will change it as well as change the colors in the Amazon Alexa app. You really only need the Lamp UX app to do the initial setup, after that you can control everything with Alexa. The Amazon Alexa app has full functionality to add bulbs to routines or schedules. My only complaint is that colors are dim when set to anything other than white spectrum.
