I ended up with the 9-piece set with the onion so I'm pretty happy! I had read that that was no longer available and was pretty bummed about that but I guess we lucked out! The velcro is super satisfying to "cut" through, and the detailed insides of the veggies are delightful. Love the vivid colors and the removable leaves too! Not too impressed with the plastic broccoli - I much prefer the wooden toys. Also, the magnets they used to hold that particular piece together are not strong enough and it tends to just fall apart, but the rest of the pieces are great quality. I don't even mind the plastic knife as it doesn't feel cheap and actually works better than the wooden ones that come in other sets. My toddler loves it and it's such a great learning toy for encouraging home cooking and healthy eating. So glad we chose this one.

Get them! I first purchased the HAPE fruit set for my toddler and she absolutely loved them that I came back for the vegetables. It's reassuring knowing they are nontoxic and better quality. One surprising note was that all of the veggies are wooden except for the broccoli (which is made of plastic... BUT it ended up being my child's favorite one! The three components of the broccoli stick together via magnets. It's really cool so I'm not made about it. It's actually really cute and funny how she always wants to slice the broccoli the MOST. I love how this toy encourages my child to "cook" healthy foods in her play.

Absolutely get these if you're on the fence! They are very well made aka sufficient holding space on sides of the veggies etc. would also make a great gift.

I loved that this set did NOT come with a cutting board (because most sets do and it's just too much to have a ton of tiny cutting boards.) I loved the detail inside when cut. The melissa and doug veggie set we have has no detail at all inside of them. Another thing I love is the plastic knife! The other wood sets that come with a wood knife, that is just silly since it's too thick to actually fit in the tiny cracks to cut. This plastic one is VERY sturdy and works so well! Only thing I didn't like was not knowing if it is solid wood or mdf... many brands use mdf and label it "wood" for the painted ones.

My kids could spend an entire afternoon just playing with their kitchen set and these new toys they got as presents. We love sustaining none plastic material- these wooden food varieties are both beautiful and fun to play with

Normalerweise schreibe ich selten eine Rezension würde aber das für sie Zukunft ändern. Versand: Der Versand war recht schnell. Ich lebe in Portugal und bestelle meistens aus dem deutschen Shop die Ware wird dann vom jeweiligen verfügbarem Versandzentrum von Amazon geschickt. Hier von Spanien und war recht schnell. Innerhalb von zwei Tagen habe ich das Paket erhalten. Was mir negativ aufgefallen ist und steht nicht im Zusammenhang mit dem Produkt ist, dass das Paket ohne weitere Verpackung zugeschickt wurde. Es war also für jeden ersichtlich was es war. Außerdem wurde das Paket nicht zugeklebt, also hätte jeder der wollte sich was rausnehmen können. Echt schlecht... Da das aber nichts mit dem Spielzeug zu tun hat gibt es keinen Stern Abzug. Verpackung: Verpackung ist echt schön gemacht. Mal vom üblichen Karton abgesehen kommt das Spielzeuggemüse in einer Papiertüte als würde man grad vom Markt kommen. In der Papiertüte ist alles einzeln verpackt um Farbe und Material zu schützen. Spielzeug: Das Spielgemüse ist schön gestaltet und super ausgeklügelt. Ich finde es toll, dass es nicht einfach so in der Mitte zerteilt wird wie bei den meisten, sondern, ein bisschen abseits, dadurch hat das Kind einen besseren Halt und tut sich nicht weh. Auch sind der Strunk von Paprika, Tomate und Aubergine entfernbar. Das macht das ganze Spielerlebnis viel realer. Das meiste ist aus Holz abgesehen vom Strunk, Brokkoli und dem Messer. Wenn man die Tüte nicht wegschmeißt hat man auch noch eine Einkaufstüte, was ich echt super süß finde. Beim Brokkoli hätte man bisschen mehr Detail dran bringen können und die obere Seite noch dunkelgrün anmalen können. Ansonsten kann ich nur absolut sagen Daumen hoch und top Spielzeug. Wir werden sicherlich noch mehr von Hape holen.
