I chose Red Brass for piping my new air compressor, one reason is the "durability" another is "heat transfer", both very important in the use of my compressor. A compressor will give off some heat, that will affect the regulator , any material that may be sprayed, the seals on air driven tools- Brass helps to dissipate this heat, it is also less likely to have flaking as galvanized pipe can. The ease of assembly is much , requires little sealer if any (use sealer if you are attaching Brass to dissimilar metals), it also has minimal expansion and is very strong- Thanks Amazon for the availability and the very reasonable price for this high quality pipe, and thanks to all who review the items, so all who "go shopping" online, are better armed with needed information

Used it for a secondary supply line for hand shower in a bathroom reno. It was the right length to get through the wall and tile that was newly installed. Time will tell if it holds up but I don't see a reason it shouldn't.
