Don't inhale the packet of spice, it's like being gassed by the SWAT police squad! They go through noodles at an alarming rate.They arrived on time and nicely packaged. They were what I was expecting; good size portion and easy for a quick lunch.Sadly, while I was hunting for the cooking instructions on the back, I saw the nice bold PEANTS in the ingredients.Perhaps it's just me but I really wasn't expecting peanuts in chicken noodles. I have a severe allergy and whilst I wasn't going to eat these I can't have nut products in the house. The peanuts are in one of the flavour sachets, not sure which one as there are 2. So, kids ended up with plain noodles and a chicken stock cube which was less than delicious apparently.The actual noodles are very good quality and I'm pretty sure the flavour would be delicious if we could use it.Sadly had to swap to another brand and checked the ingedients thoroughly beforehand this time! ### ⭐⭐⭐ I do like but... *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2020* Ok so these noodles are actually quite good once cooked but here are the let downs which make it only 3 stars:Cons:-It stinks before it's cooked, when the soup base and oil are first opened and added to noodles the smell to me is revolting. It really put me off initially and I thought the noodles themselves would be horrendous. But once cooking the smell transforms to something much milder and more pleasing.-The oil. I'm not used to adding oil to noodles and maybe that was off putting but really I just don't like having oily hands and it's really easy to get the oil on your fingers.-Price, the price is just a little too high for my liking and this coupled with the initial smell before cooking and oil just makes the whole product less appealing.Pros:- Taste is good. It's mild and pleasant.- The noodles consistency and texture is really good, the noodles are extra long as well which is nice.- I prefer dry noodles but the soup base isn't bad at all and complimented the noodles well.Cooking tip:Instructions call for 400ml of hot water from the kettle into a bowl and to be left for a few minutes.I prefer 300ml of water and to cook in a pot.
