CITRISTRIP® Paint and Varnish Stripper, 17 Oz.

So, we have vinyl siding, gray. Years ago, I was sloppy in applying deck stain and figured "so what?" Now I wanna sell the house, so I have to answer that question. Then I bought this -- and it worked amazingly. This deck stain wouldn't come off no matter what I tried. But I put this stuff on and 10 minutes later, it's smearing off like grape jelly. I sprayed it off after so it wouldn't sit there on the vinyl, and a week later there's nothing wrong with the siding. Looks the same color as the rest. So yeah, best purchase in ages, because I was going to do a color match and try painting over the stains.

I accidentally got dark brown oil deck stain on my white vinyl siding. I tried scrubbing it, power wash, and mineral spirits. Nothing worked. I sprayed this product on and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then I wiped it down with a mr clean sponge and the brown stain came right out. You can’t even tell that it used to be there. This product was a life saver. I thought I was going to need to replace the siding.

It definitely works but the smell is very strong also it leaves an orange residue. I am not a fan of that. So apply only a little bit and wipe it off really really well to avoid staining. I wish they made this clear.

This is by far my favorite product for stripping paint, which is not a fun task ever. This is so useful, is easy to spray on, doesn't drip, and cleanly removes the gunk. My only issue is that the past two times I've purchased it the delivery date has been pushed back. I haven't had that issue with other products. It's annoying because when I order something I usually need it by the date promised. I don't like waiting when I have projects to be finished.

Cut my work by a lot. Works perfectly. I stripped oil based paint on my front metal door. I applied generously and let it sit a couple hours. The product will start to lift the old paint off where I easily scrapped off with a metal scraper. Very easy.

Hello! I used this product to clean stain off of my vinyl siding from a deck staining project. I was advised to do so from a you tube video, when I searched how to clean vinyl siding. I watched several different videos all instructing me to use this specific brand. So I did. I sprayed it and scrubbed in a 3 foot area on the siding. When trying to rinse it off, it was basically bleached. It has been over a year since I did this and the color does not come back. It looks like I fell for it with this one, hopefully you dont. It is meant for removing oil based paint.. so I am sure its good for that, but not my specific peoject.

Saves time and energy when trying to remove old paint. But, I used the entire can and could use more so it didn't go as far as I hoped but it really helped.
