Good quality glass in a more convenient size for doing small extractions through a Büchner funnel.

Good, sturdy flask for boiling acidic solutions and robust enough for vacuuming with a Büchner funnel.

The flask is great -- but the mouths of the ones that I received were barely 30 mm wide, so the stoppers that I ordered did not fit. The flasks should either come with stoppers that fit, or specify the ones to order.

First things first, if you do decide to purchase this to use with a Buchner funnel you are absolutely going to need adapters or cones for your funnel. If you search "buchner funnel adapters" on here you should be able to find them. Glass arrived with no visible defects. Have used several times with a glorified aquarium pump and Buchner funnel for distillation and making tinctures. Works without issue, but the mouth of the flask is quite large and Buchner funnels tend to run "thin." To remedy this just buy adapters.

Works as it should, if this is a replacement and you don’t already know or own a adapter kit expect to have to purchase a kit of rubber adapters for any unmentioned filter funnels to fit properly. My hand cranked pump works just fine with it. Cleaning can be difficult. My personal opinion on it was money well spent as long as I don’t drop it again.

Exactly as what is advertised

Excellent packaging, Quality thick glass, for professionnel lab, high heat resistant since its for hot filtration during recrystallization. A+++ I recommend it. (Remember to buy a rubber seal to get good suction during vacuum for best results)
