Review: Very Accurate & Very Affordable - For each of my less powerful .17 caliber air rifles (~700-800 FPS and under), all four of these exceptional Gamo pellet types turned out to be some of the best performers ever! They're absolutely incredible in my .17 rifles and Umarex pistol and on top of being some of my favorite pellets, the pricing of the assortment is pretty incredible too. Initially, I bought the combo package so I'd have four more types of pellets to try while searching for the pellet or pellets my rifles preferred over anything else. All of my rifles did very well with the Match pellets (the Crosman semi-automatic preferred them over about anything else out of its 12-round clips), but the Master Point turned out to be my favorite of the four, followed by the Hunter, Match and Magnum types. They're a bit light at 7.56 grains, but for target shooting and plinking, they're pretty incredible. Not long ago, I applied a 6.5" shoot-n-c target to the front of an old protective folder for my Samsung S4 tablet, made of some sort of very tough synthetic material. Instead of a tablet, this time I stuffed the inside with pieces of cardboard, added a the shoot-n-c and taped it to the front of my normal pellet trap. To my very great surprise, out of the Crosman (and later the Daisy) the Match and domed pellets would hit the target on the front of the folder and either get stuck or bounce back (many did the latter). I examined the folder after this happened a few times and discovered it had been a lot tougher than I'd first thought when used to protect my tablet. The pellets had deformed and/or partially penetrated the front (the domed pellets especially), but on the inside, they'd knocked off a rough starred circle of the stuff directly behind the point of impact. I put everything back together, repaired the target with a few black circles and a new bulls-eye sticker and let fly again. After I hit the thing a few times in the same places, like the bulls-eye, the pellets at first would get stuck in the material, but eventually penetrated through the cover and the pieces of cardboard inside, hit the back and were stopped for awhile -- then they (the domed predominantly) would penetrate the back too. Wow, that stuff really was tough! I applied another shoot-n-c to a piece of cardboard cut to the rough size of the tablet folder, taped it to the front over the old one, but in a different place so I wouldn't be hitting the areas I'd already penetrated or damaged. I then decided to try out the pointy pellets in my more powerful Winchester 1977XS. Aha! The Master Point pellets penetrated on the first shot and knocked a starred circle off the back. Another one or two shots and they penetrated the rear of the folder too. I applied another shoot-n-c to cardboard, stuck that to the front, again in a different place and tried the Magnum pellets, with pretty much the same performance as the Master Point. Now I love the pointy ones (shiny)! ;-) All four of these excellent pellets were superb performers in the Umarex Strike Point, Daisy 880 and Winchester 1077xs and the Match and Hunter were exceptional in the Crosman 1077w, so I'm impressed. Having earned a well-deserved place as some of the very best pellets for every one of my small-caliber air rifles, I now buy these Gamo Combo Packs primarily due to the great bargain price. In some cases, I've noted that just one tin of 250 Gamo pellets can cost nearly as much as all four of these four tins together, depending on the seller and date, so this really is a great deal. Even better, at the price I can get the combos for now (lower than I paid initially), they only cost a little more than a penny a pellet! Great performance AND great price? What's not to like? :-) Now all I have to do is grab up six or eight more of these Gamo Combo Packs while the price remains low. I want to be sure I have plenty for the next time they're needed and whenever they're needed, especially the Master Point (my favorite). My only problem now will be trying to come up with a way of convincing my wife I needed thousands more pellets when I already HAVE a few thousand pellets. Nah, she won't be too upset. Whatever happens, like Popeye says, "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do ... and so do I." :-) If I had to find something about which to complain, my only gripe would be a wish they were several grains heavier -- something like 8.x to 10.x grains. Just as they are, however, I'm still loving them. Get some for yourself while the getting is still good and give 'em a try in your own favorite shooter(s). Highly recommended. Just in case you're interested, here are the Gamo pellets listed in order of my personal preference, having basically nothing to do with accuracy or price or anything else -- it's just what I like. :-) #1) Master Point #2) Hunter #3) Magnum #4) Match The Match pellets are at the very bottom of the list, even though I get excellent performance with almost any brand or weight of flat-head pellet I've tried so far, which bothers me for some reason. The tin of 500 Daisy Flat-Nosed pellets that were included as part of my Daisy Powerline 880 Kit (it's a safe bet they're very inexpensive) work very well in my rifles, but they're kind of grungy and icky-looking in a visual comparison, so I tend to think of them last when I probably should be using them up the quickest. These Gamo Match pellets work well; spectacularly well actually, making them THE goto pellet for use in my Crosman 1077W semi-automatic air rifle clips, although the other brands seem to work just about as well. The domed Hunters do pretty well too. I think it boils down to my just really liking the Gamo pellets, probably because they're prettier. Shiny too. :-) I also have another tin of 500 flat-head pellets around here somewhere, but I don't remember the manufacturer (Crosman or Winchester probably) and I'm too lazy to go look. It boggles my mind somewhat, but basically, the flat-head pellets from every manufacturer I've tried so far seem to work very well with all my air rifles. Since the flat-head, match-type pellet is my least favorite of all the pellet types, that's really too bad -- I must have some kind of weird, built-in and unreasoning prejudice about this type because of that danged flat head: it's just wrong! It seems to fly right in the face of everything I thought I knew about streamlined aerodynamic shapes and such... How the heck do they even fly?! This is making my brain hurt. Seriously, why are these inherently WRONG, demon-spawned pellets-from-heck so gosh-darned accurate!? Somebody help me!!!! :-) Try 'em!
Review: Good quality sampler - Each pellet is consistent in appearance and weight for the prescribed label. You have to remember to re-zero for extended distance to maintain accuracy in this larger caliber. I also purchased a pack in .25 and .30 caliber and the quality was just as consistent. Worth the investment. You have to try different brands to see which brand, weight and shape your particular rifle is most accurate with. Too bad to get to shoot more...

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Quality.... 4.95 Stars!
*by T***R on May 23, 2026*

1st - this is NOT a 5-star rating. It is actually 4.95. Great consistency throughout the entire batch. Very accurate out of my Gamo Fusion gen i3. My ONLY issue is that on occasion, I have found a .177 pellet mixed in with the .22s. For me - no big deal since the smaller pellets just fall right through the magazine.
