Review: Does what it says on the box - I bought this to mount on the back of my monitor to free up desk space, I like a completely empty desk, and it fits the bill perfectly. I pretty much now have a poor man's iMac as the Mac Mini sits quietly on the back of the monitor and is completely unobtrusive, as the monitor also has a decent cable management system you would have to look behind to even realise there is a computer attached. The only caveat is that if you are someone who is constantly switching peripherals this may prove to be a messy solution as it involves pulling the monitor out constantly, I've solved this by sticking a USB hub to the rear top of the back of the monitor, this is connected to the Mac and allows me to easily plug in peripherals without dragging the monitor out each time. I added some gaffa tape to the inside front of the unit to stop it scratching the Mac and my only criticism would be that the manufacturer hadn’t included any solution to that inevitable problem as part of the design. One star off for that.
