Encourages Goals!!
I love this journal. It is my first exercise journal so I don't have much to compare it to other than reading about other ones but here is my take. It works well for a beginner and for somebody who is more advanced. It has room for my sticker envelope in the back. The pages are pretty thick and it feels solidly made. I'm able to toss it in a bag without it being harmed. It has a goal page which is essential for me personally. In Front of Journal: -A page for creating goals in the front which I use with stickers and helps me change it up challenges every few weeks. - a page to record types of exercises -A track your progress page in the front which I don't use but can see how it would be helpful expecially if you are trying to track weight. In Middle: -I have a picture above of that main basic page for daily recordings. I love that the cardio is recorded separate. It has a place for tracking food but it is non-intrusive which I like since tracking food is not my goal. I personally find that distressing if that is a major part of the journal. On the other hand, the water droplets for how much you drink is really cool. In The Back: -It has a couple of blank pages for notes. - one page with a 6 month calendar on which I use stickers to mark when I have completed goals. - last page opposite the calendars is a place for body measurements and a small box for professional records. In a perfect world this is what I would change. I would love a place to put the total time and the total calorie count each day. And I would love one more cardio line and two more goal pages. I did not deduct a star for this because I was unable to find a journal that did have these these things and also had the other qualities I was looking for and if it doesn't exist it didn't seem fair. Great Journal for reaching your goals!
I bought this fitness journal and workout planner to track my progress and motivate myself to achieve my fitness goals. I have been using it for a year now because I ended up buying more and I am very happy with it. Well-designed and simple, with plenty of space for personal records, such as sets, types of exercise, ratings, body measurements, progress, and diet preferences. The pages are made of high-quality paper and the cover has a protective layer. The wire binding is sturdy and allows the journal to lay flat. I would most def recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a quality and affordable fitness journal and workout planner.

The journal works great
The journal contains a bunch of different pages for all kinds of workout recording, monthly sorting, and other details you'd want to track at your home gym. It's perfectly viable for a gym you're going to, but when I go out I like to use my mobile device to record my reps/weight.

The perfect fitness journal!
I absolutely love this Fit Log / Journal. I've purchased many versions of this journal and will continue to do so as it helps me hold myself accountable. I use it to write my weekly goals, track my progress, and outline weights lifted each week so I can visually see my progress. I know there are many apps available that have similar features, but having the ability to write it down helps me personally. The overall design and size is compact - perfect in my opinion. Open, it is slightly under 12" W and and slightly over 8" H. I don't think it's too bulky or heavy, making it easy to pack and travel with. Some versions have a hard cover and others have a softer, more flexible exterior. The pages are thick enough for ink and highlighter to not bleed through. To be modified according to user's needs
I ordered a workout journal because I got tired of making my own from scratch. I found this journal not perfect, but found ways to adapt it to my particular workout. I am still tinkering with it. Chances are, most people will have this experience unless they adjust their workout to fit the book. The book is well constructed and a good size for a workout journal. The pages are marked clearly. As it did not cost very much, I figured it was worth try.

I have been training for over a decade. I took my training seriously in 2011 and competed in my first figure show 2012. I worked with a coach for 9 years. Due to covid any photoshoots or specific fitness goals are at a halt. I can't handle the gyms opening then closing. Working out from home has been a challenge, but now I'm slowely building my own gym. Ive never tracked my weights (kept it in my head). I was searching for a log book to help keep me on track and help track my strength. I also need to submit a fitness log for work. I absolutely love this book. The hard cover, sleek black look and all the pages inside are very detailed - from cardio, length of time, some nutrition and quality of workout. This has it all. And the size of it is also perfect. My only complaint is I wish it was thicker. I'm planning to do a 20 week prep I Don't think this will fit it all (maybe? Maybe not?). Either way I'll still buy another book when I finish this one. If they read these comments I would request 16 week prep books and 24 week prep books.

Love this thing. So versatile. Currently doing a phased calisthenics program (self-made) consisting of accumulation (hypertrophy), intensification (strength), and realization (PR/skill solidification) phases. I'm able add all my exercises, track everything I need to and forces me to be use proper overload. Also, it's kind of therapeutic to just sit down everyday and write out the next day's workout program to mentally get your prepped and hyped. Just to give you an idea for anyone with "different" training goals: I currently have goals relating to the front lever, rings muscle-up, handstand push-up, planche, one-arm handstand, squats, deadlifts, over-head press, middle splits, pancake, and back-bend. All of these translate perfectly to the book in their respective mesocycles (every 6 pages in the book for me is one microcycle). Wish I got something like this sooner....I would have progressed much further.

日本のレビューがなく、出品者も軒並み新規か評価が低い出品者だったので人柱覚悟で購入してみました。 結果SHILA STORE JPという出品者から購入しましたがちゃんと届きました。1週間くらいかかりました。アメリカ発送のようです。 若干角が曲がっていたりしましたが書店でもこれくらいはよくあるレベルで特に問題ありません。 紙面は商品画像の通りで最初に2、3ページで目標とか月ごとの達成出来た出来ないのページがあり、あとは120ページ全部トレーニングのページです。 余計なトレーニングのウンチクとか全くいらなかったのでその点は期待通りでした。 ただ英語のレビューでもある通りちょっと紙質がチープに感じる。100均とまでは言わないが3coinなら買えそう。無印良品の方がいいものありそう。 他方表紙裏表紙の厚紙はバキバキに頑丈なので手持ちでも書きやすい。 トータルして5000円の価値は微妙なところだが私個人の要求は十分満たしているので満足です。 出来れば日本の出品者出て欲しいなぁ。

This record book is excellent for all types of exercise. It permits personalized approaches to record keeping instead of forcing any particular patterning of days, hours, location, and so on. Once this book is full (which will take awhile, even for an avid exercise buff), I'm sure another one will be purchased.
