Seaguar Gold Label really is the gold standard. After dealing with random breakoffs and weak points from other brands and cheaper leaders, I switched to Seaguar Blue Label—and that alone was a huge upgrade. This is my favorite leader. Gold label works well in both fresh and salt water. There are many cheaper options out there, but in clear water you will definitely catch more fish with a high quality leader like this Gold Label.

Very thin, Very clear and Very strong for 12# line. Somewhat expensive for main line, but great for leaders. Can use either way. Flexible and easy to tie most knots. Substitute this 12# thin, clear line, for other brands of lighter sizes,(4#-8#) leaders, and you will land the majotity your fish!

Perfect for shallow water inshore sight fishing to red fish using artificials. Its all I use for tailing reds. It allows a little more casting distance because its thin and yet still has the strength. I would not use 20lb around oysters but the in the grass its fine. I have never had it fail and caught about 10 fish over 27 inches in the grass with no issue.

This stuff weaponizes your trolling rigs. Perfectly clear, strong, and tiny. Lures appear to be naturally swimming in the water. It would be hard to go to any other fluorocarbon.

I've always gone back to Seaguar for bass fishing leaders with braid main line with great results. I wanted something thinner than Blue or Red label for crankbaits and caught their top of the line leader on sale. It is definitely thinner and softer than the other two, but a lot more expensive normally. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but based on my experience with Seaguar, I'm confident it will work great.
