Knifeless Design Line 50m Tape Roll Including Toolkit

Having never used vinyl wrap, or have done any kind of stripes or graphics on my cars, I watched numerous how to videos... And almost all of them recommended 3M Knifeless tape!!! I'm sold on it...it works as advertised... Just look at the perfect stripes I was able to make on my Corvette with this 3M Knifeless tape and some VVivid vinyl!!

Your cuts should be clean as long as the tape and vinyl is pressed down prior to pulling. The overlaps on my inlays are nearly invisible, even up close! Be sure to keep the line tension free while placing, but even with that tactic it sometimes doesn't like to stick too well.

Must have for any vinyl decal installer.

Wrapped a helmet and some very curvy car parts. Works well, but is sometimes hard to get the string started. You have to snap out the string and sometimes the string breaks... just make sure to leave a long tail to work with!

I prefer the finish line over the design line. This stuff worked but breaks much easier than the finish line. Had some trouble with it cutting through the chrome wrap. Was over though able to make it work and finish the job

Watched video on YouTube on how to use. Works like a charm once you get the line started, that’s the hardest part for me. Cuts a nice sharp line.

The tape has a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s okay. The toughest part is getting the leftover liner out from under the vinyl. There were some spots I just gave up because I couldn’t get it out. The install kit on the other hand is not so great. I do appreciate having it, but the felt just disintegrated after the first few panels. It’s got to the point that I just used the blue squeegee without the felt because once the felt fell apart, it started leaving marks on the vinyl.
