We have used it as a table, BBQ and fire pit. We are all very impressed by it (especially considering the price)! We may get a slightly larger grill grate for the BBQ function as it has almost slipped on occasion but despite this it works really well as a BBQ. It has a very even heat. It is a great fire pit and the family have enjoyed a relaxed time sitting roasting marshmallows on a warm evening. We are very conscious of safety having three children 18months, 7yrs and 9yrs and we are really happy to report that it is sturdy. We have to be careful with the tiny one and are teaching fire safety but we are not concerned about it falling at any point. We bought a cover for it and we let it cool and then ensure it is covered when it is not in use as I have read reviews that it can rust very quickly. It has managed to stay rust free even through the dire Northern weather. I have never owned a fire pit before so have nothing to compare it to but I am really impressed by the price, style and functionality of this one. Many thanks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely looking addition to my garden *by G***E on 22 May 2022* This is a great looking and sturdy table. I am very pleased with it. Easy to put together and so versatile. We had a brunch BBQ this morning and all went smoothly. Plenty of space to cook for a few people.There were a few marks on the black paintwork. I messaged the supplier a few weeks ago for advice on what would be best to cover these. I've not heard back which is disappointing.Update: NOT WATER TIGHT!I've only used the BBQ once so far. When I took the top off tonight I found a pool of water and rust. The sides of the lid are also rusted, so this is obviously where the rain got in. I still love the table and the concept, so at present have only reduced my 5 star rating to 4 star, but I am very disappointed it has rusted soooo easily! I've not heard back from the supplier regarding my query from a few weeks ago, so I don't feel they'll care about this latest development. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by B***N on 12 July 2019* I love this, it has so many uses. You could even use it as a planter, that would look so good!Still not had a BBQ with it but had several fires.Good points: Very sturdy, very heavy, that's good really, as nobody could walk away with it. Looks good. Great combination table etc..Bad Points, none really, small hole in the bottom allows the rain water through and the unit takes on rust inthe bowl, so this could stain a patio paint job. Keep the fire catcher oiled. Don't store it under the table, the water drips on it and yes, you guessed it rust!
