I was struggling to find the correct reed being new. This set hit the spot. I like the ZZ java the best, but I use them all during my practice. Good value for new players. Thanks

Excellent products here. I recently picked up my saxophone for the first time in 13 years. The Rico reeds I bought at the local music store seemed nice enough... at first. They only had 2.5's in stock. They didn't account for the fact that when you start out, you need a softer reed. Anyway, the reeds work like a charm. Beginning anew is a pleasure with these reeds. I usually (at this stage) have problems hitting the low notes on my sax. With these reeds I can belt out low D's all day every day! I upgraded from the sound of a screeching cat to the sound of a donkey giving birth by simply changing out my Rico reeds for these gems. I find it hard to choose which one I like best. The Rico reeds went in the garbage, Vandoren all the way!
