Would these be good to melt and mix with dryer lint to be placed into egg cartons to make fire starters?

The camping tip for making firestarters this way is pretty old! I think older than all the plastic fabrics. I'd only use dryer lint from a load of cotton or other natural fiber clothes.

Can this be used to wax canvas?

I’m not sure. I’m using it make charcoal starters for my grill. Sorry I couldn’t offer a better answer. On the flip side it’s an $8 experiment right. If the wax doesn’t work for you canvas project there are a million other uses. Let YouTube and Pinterest be your guide. Best of luck and a Safe 4th!
