Works good. It was good. But very expensive. I am sure it's because of the brand and its functionality. I guess I could have survived with simpler option too. But bought this on friends recommendation. Happy though

Purchased just now for my live-streaming work. My opinion after a quick usage :- +ve: 1. Very good performance, just like the multiple positive reviews on YouTube and Amazon etc. 2. No installation required - simply plug and play. Gets detected like a webcam. Very sleek and small. 3. Packaging and delivery were very good. A useful USB extender is also provided. 4. It works perfectly on my i7 laptop. Doesn't show any lag on other i3 device even though the recommended config is i5. 5. Almost no lag or delay. -ve: 1. The device gets heated very quickly. I don't think it would be safe to use it outside an air conditioned place. The heating issue serious - it is not mild heating but a potentially device-damaging level! 2. With no warranty, it looks like a risky investment. 3. Expensive - got it for Rs. 12,748.00 (but you don't have better alternatives) Will update the review after using it for a couple of months. Edit after 5 yrs of use: still going strong. No issues ever. Wonderful product. Paisa wasool.👍

Packaging looks cheap. The box it came in was also damaged. Not sure if its a genuine product or not. Will update the rating after checking its performance for few days. Update: Product is working fine. Deducting 1 rating due to very bad packing.

Used this wonderful Capture Card with my Canon 200D. - Works very well on Video Mode (of the camera) as it captures Full HD resolution of 1920x1080. It can stream continuously for 2 hours at 60 FPS setting. - Streams upto 1080p 60 FPS for YouTube Live & Facebook Live, without any lags. - Used with softwares such as vMix, ECamm Live, OBS, Streamlabs OBS and Elgato Game Capture. No problem with any of them. - It's simple plug & play. No need to look for drivers. - Heating: It doesn't really heat that much, as compared to what people are claiming in their reviews. In case you're streaming for about 3-4 hours, try taking a 15-20 min break and allow the Camlink to cool down. It doesn't take beyond 10 mins to cool. Overall, fantastic product! Purchased it for INR 11,349. *EDIT* 1. It even worked with my Sony Handycam, which is a 10 year old model! 2. I recently bought another Camlink and it works great too.

Not only is this piece of crap the most expensive Cam-link on the market, it's also the LEAST USEFUL. DO NOT Go by the Youtube reviews etc. as they are all being paid a hefty commission for reviewing the Elgato Cam Link as the go-to device. Works well in most scenarios, but if you want to record a screenshare tutorial with Cam, straight into your video editor like Camtasia, the video will NOT process i.e. it's staccato and frozen!! This is even after updating the firmware and the Camlink Utility software. In comparison I bought the Congo HD Video Capture card for 10% of the price, and NONE of these problems exist!!! Very good product.

After wasting a lot of time & money trying to find the right HDMI encoders that will work with DSLR's & Camcorders, each one has their issues, this one just works straight out of the box. It works well with my Nikon D7200. The video feed was acknowledged by all video conference apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Skype where the inbuilt webcam of my laptop was replaced by the DSLR video feed at native resolution of the camera (720p 60fps & 1080p 30fps). It can go upto 4K resolution at 30 fps but I don't have the equipment to test it. It also works with video streaming apps like OBS. Elgato's software can be used to do live game streaming as well from your Windows / MacOS machine. Youtube videos were very useful to convince me this was the right device to do the job. Basically any camera with an HDMI output (mini HDMI / Micro HDMI to HDMI) can be used with this simple encoder to make it more useful.

You can find many devices like this for way cheap but I think it was a good investment… using for 2 years now So good so far on both windows and mac

عشان المنتج يشتغل لازم يتوصل ب مدخل usb3 مستقل، بجهاز امكانيات كارت الشاشة فيه عالية لو اتوصل على usb hub هيقرفك حرفيا ويفصل كتير، خاصة لو انت موصل هاردات او deck او حاجات تانية كتير. لو معندكش مدخل usb3 مستقل في جهازك مانصحكش تشتريه لو عندك المتطلبات، هتلاقي الجودة ممتازه الفرق بينها وبين ال capture card التقليدي الرخيص هو فقط في ال 60 frame لكن جودة الصورة مش بتفرق في حاجه، رغم ان السعر ١٠ اضعاف

Setting this up with my Sony ZV-E10 was super quick and easy—it’s basically plug and play. The build feels solid and well-made, which is what I expect from Elgato products, and the price felt very reasonable for the quality you get. I’m a big fan of Elgato and have my entire streaming and WFH setup built around their products, so it fits perfectly into my workflow. The device works reliably, and the image quality is consistent with what I need for streaming and video calls. Tout est dans le titre. Vous achetez un samsung nx500 en occase sur ebay (autour de 400€) en ensuite, avec ce "elgato cam link", cela permet de créer une "webcam" avec un "grand" capteur APS-C de très très bonne qualité à un prix défiant toute concurrence. Enregistrement en 4K 60 fps parfait avec zéro artéfact de compression. Avec la lentille du kit de base du nx500 (20-60mm avec f3.5/5.6), l'auto-focus sur vos yeux est aussi parfait sans focus breathing. Tout est direct et facile avec le samsung NX1 car il a une sortie "clean hdmi" en permanence. Pour avoir une image de bonne qualité sur la sortie hdmi du Samsung nx500 il faut apuyer sur le bouton enregistrement. Avec le petit "patch" du firmware du nx500 (gratuit et facile à installer: il suffit d'avoir une carte SD), j'enregistre aussi en 4K pendant des heures sans aucun soucis sur le nx500 (et surement aussi le nx1 mais j'ai juste un nx500 pour tester) (aucun soucis de température). C'est le super bon plan pour avoir une caméra de qualité professionnelle pour vos vidéos youtube "talking heads" à un prix défiant toute concurrence.
