Q: Am I to presume that alcohol is still in the rum or is there no alcohol at all and the Prop.Glycol is the substitute?

There is alcohol in the rum. It is very pungent in the food initially but becomes less so over time.

Q: There are two different lists of ingredients on this amazon page. Then, a customer lists different ingredients. What are the ingredients now?

The bottle I received states Alcohol, water, Rum extractives. No other ingredients

Q: can this rum flavor mixed in a coke give a good rum and coke flavor?

It would not! It is like vanilla flavoring. It is not a syrup. What you might be able to do is make a simple syrup and put the flavoring in it and put that in the coke. The rum flaoring is marvelous for baking however. I will buy it again. CGG

In my opinion the rum extract has a much stronger rum flavor than actual rum.
