Made in Abyss Vol. 2

Where the first volume spent its length setting things up, the second sees protagonists Reg and Riko start out on their adventure proper. We see more conflict, more action, and much more of the titular Abyss. Made in Abyss is a masterful blend of cute shenanigans and dark, unsettling concepts, and this volume offers the first sampling of the latter. It only escalates from here. A few risque panels this time too; your mileage may vary as to whether the series' paradoxically innocent tone makes those more or less jarring.

Our grandson loves it. It’s a very well written and translated from Japanese with illustrations that are well thought of and well presented. 👍

absolutely fantastic

Paedophilic. Honestly I was hoping they'd censor it, or that the original content wouldn't be as bad, but it is pretty terrible. Too bad for me to ignore. It's a huge shame because I really love everything else about MIAbyss, but I'm not here to lavish praise on it. The first volume wasn't that bad but it's tough to imagine enjoying volume 2 without being a lolicon.

C’est ce que je m’attendais

Great series, parts of it are so sincere and emotional you can't help but cry. But watch out, the kids in these stories are put into very serious/strange situations and the artist will not spare you from their extensive, graphic world building. Exhibit. A: Inside the back cover of this volume. It's that special kind of lewd art that certain Japanese artists create, the kind that really doesn't fly over in the west. You can probably guess what based on this author's art style and subject matter. Personally, I had to take a thickass sharpie marker to it because damn, I don't want that in my house. That said, I'm glad they reprinted the manga in its entirety. I don't want them censoring stuff I can easily censor myself. Superb stuff, otherwise.

Continuação de uma serie muito boa, não perdeu nada em qualidade. Como já sitado na avaliação do volume 1, para quem gosta é uma excelente forma de treinar outro idioma!
