How do you get the photos developed ?

I brought mine to my local CVS where they develop photos; they'll treat it like any regular disposable camera.

How effective is the Fujifilm camera after its expiration date?

I don't know. However, if you can wrap around it, buy an underwater digital camera. I used this camera while snorkeling and it was really hard to see through the eye hole on the camera and I went through the exposures REALLY fast! Just food for thought. I LOVE the underwater digital!

does it take good quality pictures?

Quality of the pictures is very good for just above water but only mediocre for underwater.

Not back when I used one, but I had the film developed onto a CD and used my computer to get some great underwater photos.
