Review: Easily colour personalised - I bought this as we’re decorating the hallway doors and the current sign was looking old and shabby, so I bought this to replace it. The sign as it was was lovely but I wanted to paint it to match the hallway it faces, which was so easy to do as the lettering is deep, it still needs varnishing to protect the new paint, but I’m very happy with it and couldn’t recommend this more, whether you personalise it or leave it plain 👍 Review: Solid item................not quite as light in colour as the pictures, but still looks good - Nice item for a good price. My only gripe is that it really is quite dark, no highlights as the pictures suggest (though I gess lighting when their picture was taken did that). Still I like it, for the creatives who buy this you might be able to spray it with some metallic paint, or add highligtes with a tiny brush using metallic paint. I may try this but for now I'll go with it as I love the rustic look it gives.
