Does "2 X 75W" mean 2 channels each with 37.5 Watts for a total of 75 Watts?

" 2 X 75w " = 75 watts **max wattage per channel ( left = 75w max & right = 75w max) @ ** 4 Ohms impendence. In other words, using two speakers both rated @ 4 Ohms each you'd get a max wattage of 75w left channel & max 75w right channel. IF you were to use two 8 Ohm speakers wattage output would be max 37.5w left channel & max 37.5w right channel. In addition, a very important issue is the RMS wattage rating of speakers you use with this low wattage amplifier. In order to get decent sound you'll need speakers with a RMS 60w - & no more than 100w RMS rating.

can an aux cord be plugged directly into this amplifier?

What kind of a cord do you refer too! it takes the standard type of audio cords, nothing special to make it work.standard left & Right inputs with 2 wire clip connectors.

This amp having a 4 ohms output, will it work with my 8 ohms speakers? Will it effect sound quality?

The spec I found in the booklet was 8 ohm per speaker... I hooked up 4 speakers (2 left, 2 right, each side in parallel) in a 20x20 room and volume was not an issue

does this amp come with its own power cord?
