I bought these for my 2009 VW Routan. Worked perfectly. Dual DVD players and these were able to switch between channels easily. No setup required. Just install batteries and turn them on. Really neat how the range works. Moving them just outside the car disconnects them from the dvd system. Its good to know that its unlikely to pick up other vehicles DVD players when traveling. They also fit well for a range of sizes. From 3 to an adult, all fit comfortably. I will likely invest in a couple sets of rechargeable batteries. My kids use them a lot and batteries never last long enough.I would also like to add that the VW brand headphones from the dealership that do the same thing as these were $130-$160. Each. These were found at a much more appealing price and did exactly as I wanted. 10/10 would buy again.ETA: I sold the VW Routan and purchased a 2011 Honda Oddessy. These headphones work for it also so I did not need to purchase a new set. Still very pleased with this purchase.

Have had these headphones for 1 month and they work great in our 2014 Chrysler T&C van. Low headset volume reported by others not a problem (must set max volume level on DVD player menu on radio - if it's too low, headset volume will be too low). IR link seems to come through the right headphone - be careful not to block it (headphones are marked R or L, so make sure to put them on correctly so they'll face the right direction). Our 4 grandkids love them for watching DVDs while traveling - 2 channel switch allows selecting either movie soundtrack when watching different DVDs on the front and rear screens. Now normally very quiet in the back seats (except when someone starts singing along with the soundtrack), so that makes us front seat occupants happy, too!

Work flawlessly in our 2014 Honda Odyssey and even improve on the OEM fit and sounds quality. The only ding is they don't fold down flat to fit into the seat pockets.

Bought these for our 2010 Dodge Journey. They work perfectly and the added 3.5mm headphone jack and cables make the headphones great for using with iPods and iPhones on those long road trips as well. They don't use the batteries in the headsets when they are plugged into another device and can actually be used without batteries. The kids love them. They're more comfortable than the originals that came with the Journey and, while they are slightly heavier, they fit better so they're easier to wear as well.Highly recommend them.

I am writing this review because I rely heavily upon reviews when buying products so I feel I need to let people know about these headphones. We are sooooo disappointed in these headphones. We had not even pulled out of the driveway on our first road trip of the summer when the cover to the batteries came off one and would not stay on. We have used them two times and only one out of the four still works. The foam came off the ear pieces of two separate ones. The entire ear piece broke off of another. Another one just stopped working. Right now they are held together by super glue and black electrical tape. Like many of the other reviewers mentioned, the sound is not that great. The kids all complained of not being able to hear because the sound was so faint. I loved the idea of how compact they are and appreciated that they paired with our GMC Acadia with no problems....but my goodness!!! When did products become so cheaply made? This is one time I wished I would have trusted my gut and not the positive reviews and went with another product. (Our original headphones that came with he car later 7 years, and these lasted 7 seconds! So frustrating).

These worked with no problems for my Honda Odyssey with ease. All I had to do was open the box it was shipped in. Follow the simple instructions included, which was open the tab of the ear for the battery compartment. Insert two (2) AAA batteries (NOT included), close the battery compartment. Turn the device on while seated in my van, and viola, worked with no issues. I have not been able to use for an extended trip yet, but I don't think I will have any issues. Thanks again, I'm sure this beats any costs it would have been if I went to a Honda dealer.

I have a 2011 Town & Country with 2 x Rear Monitors. I'm Very Happy with this purchase! All headsets linked to both Rear monitors immediately without a problem. Also the reception and sound quality worked perfectly when rear vest monitor-1 showed DVD while monitor-2 showed satellite TV, not a problem. Note; A year ago I had replaced the original headsets with two Mopar brand, that was over price for just two, like most Mopar accessories, it was cheaply made and broke within a month. This Melodeez brand is much more durable for children and it features leather like ear cushion that gives a better comfort. For the Price, Quantity and Quality.... Its a Must Buy product.

They work well with the system. The young kids were able to break them without any effort.
