After using other products similar to Febron I became frustrated with the results and stopped using any products whatsoever to conceal my bald spot. None of the products worked and anyone who wasn't blind could easily observe that there was something not quite right with my hair, and my wife was always complaining about the residue I left behind on the pillows. I tried a few other hair products and the results were even worse than the first product I'd been using for all these years. Finally, I was done and accepted that I'm balding and there was nothing I could do other than getting a hair transplant, which I couldn't afford. One evening I was doing some random browsing on the internet and came across Febron's web site. I watched some of the videos and it piqued my curiosity. Febron offered a free sample of their hair building product; I thought to myself, "why not try it", its free other than the nominal shipping charge. The sample arrived after a few days. The next morning after my sample arrived I took a shower, washed and dried my hair, and applied the hair fibers with hope and skepticism. I followed the directions to the letter and much to my astonishment Febron hair fibers worked as advertised. For me this product is different than the others as it doesn't leave any strange artifacts or residue on my pillow and it looks good on my hair. The product is so good that my wife didn't know I was using it, other than saying my hair "looks good". My wife was always complaining about the other hair building products, but this time she didn't even notice I was using Febron until I told her, weeks later. The are several caveats though. If you're completely bald it won't work and you must follow the directions to the letter to get good results. I would recommend that you give Febron a try it may be the product you're looking for.

Let me just say that I was incredibly skeptical at first because I'm stubborn and refused to use hair concealer products. When I first ordered this product, I canceled my order at first because I wouldn't accept the fact that I may need a hair thickening agent. I'm in my mid 20s, have been losing my hair since I was 15 and probably lost about 40% of my density. I have course Italian hair with a small bald spot in the middle of my head. The stress of looking in the mirror all the time was driving me insane. I've been on minoxidil and finasteride for years to maintain what I have. Then... I gave Febron a chance. All I can say is WOW. It looks so natural and blends in with your existing hairs perfectly. The first thing I learned is LESS is MORE. Do not go crazy with this stuff. It binds to existing hairs you have. I have some thinning in the front with a small bald spot in the middle. All I do is use Febron with the applicator and and spray multiple times, pat it out and comb it light on top. If you think you're gonna wear a hat or sweat, I'd suggest getting the hair fiber spray, but I don't really need it that often since I only use a little bit of Febron and it stays in well. It's very easy to use. Give Febron a shot. I tried Toppik years ago and they are way inferior to Febron in amount and more importantly the fiber itself. It really does bring your self esteem back. I'll end up staying on Febron for as long as I maintain the hair I have left. Thought it's interesting to note that this stuff is used heavily in Hollywood by actors to get that perfect full-headed mane.

Bottom line.....watching your hair thin and leaving a larger "negative space" on the crown of your head over time, is just plain unfair! Damn Father Time anyway! Luckily, there are products that can now help hide one's embarrassment and self-consciousness. However, they are not all the same. I have tried a bunch. Some have weird colors that I can't imagine really match anyone's hair. Others have a very odd consistency that makes your hair much harder to style after application, and some are downright difficult to apply as the powder just won't come out. Febron is by far my favorite hair loss concealer! Comes out of the bottle very easy, and covers on the first try, with a good variety of colors. I have found one that matches my hair perfectly and I couldn't be happier!

I am thoroughly impressed by Febron. I use the dark brown hair color. Although it may be pricey, as it would be a recurring purchase, the quality for what you buy is great. I have tried other brands before, none come close to Febron. The biggest advantages include the fact that it's *really* hard for the fibers to be completely removed. What I mean by that is, I apply Febron in the morning while I'm styling my hair (around 630am), go to work, visit family/friends, stop by the gym, and by the time I return home, my scalp appears untouched. Yes, you read that right. I go to the gym, sweat my behind off, and the fibers go nowhere. Why did I give this a 4 star review? Simply, because during the aforementioned typical day, I go through a couple of scares of where I may rest my head on a wall, a couch, the seat of my car, and even the bench at the gym, and rub off and leave fibers/spots. To be clear, it's not leaky, but if someone or something intentionally rubs the scalp of my head, it will stain a bit. I loosely use the term "stain" because you can literally brush off the fibers off whatever surface with the back of your hand.
