Chrono Cross: Official Strategy Guide (Video Game Books) Paperback – January 1, 2000

Normally on my RPG games I like to play them through without the help of guides, but Chrono Cross is so non-linear and has such a wide base of characters there is no real way you could find many of the cool stuff in the game without this guide.Simply put, it's well laid out, as bright and colourful as the game itself, details where all the items are located, and gives advice on how to beat the more difficult bosses.Yes, you can complete the game without this, but you would most certainly miss out on a lot of awesome subquests, groovy characters, and very helpful items, you woulnd't want to do that now, would you?

Chrono Cross is one of the best games ever made. I've played it so many times, yet I still learned new stuff about it from this book. There's stamps on the inside of the cover that says it was previously owned by a library, but it's in really good condition

enjoy the ability to use different people in the game, and that when you start a new game you can carry over some of the abilities that they have learned.

This Strategy Guide is a tribute to all of the great strategy guides of the 90's, back before Game Stop had you spending ridiculous cash on strategy guides that are twice the size, but still only have the same amount of information. This one in particular is very, very, wordy, but is still a good stratrgy guide that will help you through this rather tough sequel to the absolute classic known as Chrono Trigger.

I like that this guide is very helpful in general it does tell you how to recruit all characters and its extremely helpful with bosses from beginning to end and it also tells you how or when you get the Lv 7 techs for all the characters, but it doesn't show you anything about the characters Element Grids which would be helpful in buying elements for them and all the maps are in a seperate area of the guide which can be frustrating especially when you want to know where the treasures are in the area your in but overall a really good guide I highly recommend it.

this book is needed to capture and fully experience the wonders and joy that this game has to offer. great game deserves to be played to the fullest. i highly suggest picking up this book is much easier than looking for stuff online.

One of my favorite video games and needed a new guide from 17 years of wear and tear. Product did not disappoint and arrived in new condition with only very minor bending in the books spine from storage I'm guessing. Would buy from this seller again.
