Bowerman regarding the sport of Track and Field should be mandatory reading material for any Track and Field Coach as well as being one of the cornerstones of any coach's library.This book tells you how to get the most out of your athletes during practices, as well as directing you towards other sources that will help you to build upon what Mr. Bowerman has set forth in this book.

This is a good insight into the mind and training idea of Bill Bowerman, the man behind the invention of the waffle sole and Nike. Worth the money for serious or casual runners of any distance.

Very informative read on training philosophies. Wish there was a bit more on strength training, however, it is a book on running!
