Watershot Underwater Waterproof Housing for iPhone 5 / 5s

ehhh.. mediocre at best. The first day we were using it, we lost a rubber "pad" for one of the buttons, and so now we can not use it to its fullest capacity. App has difficulties all the time and force closes or freezes constantly, and can not be restarted unless you remove the phone completely from the case (get out of the water, dry the case, open to get the phone out, reopen app, close and lock the case, return to water.... snap 4 photos, app freezes, repeat).When the app is working, and the buttons are present, the housing works well. The pictures are clear and the housing is very water-tight. I feel confident that my phone would not get wet, but with all of the small issues, I would not recommend this product.

This is way cheaper than purchasing expensive underwater housing, plus you get to take pictures with your phone. Definitely follow all the tips from other reviewers (like disabling the auto lock on your phone, and become familiar with the app controls before you use it). It worked fine, but I let my dive buddy use it to take some pictures and he pressed the wrong button which pulled up the home screen and prevented me from taking pictures until I was able to resurface and reopen the app. This was 40' underwater, and I had no leaks.

got this baby right before our trip to hawaii, and i love it! It works great! the app that is compatible with the case works great. I had a different waterproof case for my iphone 4, and i did like it. But the watershot housing was great. When I did recieve it, I was kind of taken back at the size it is. It is pretty bulky. But if that isnt an issue, get it. I feel 100% safe when i put my phone in it and dunk it under water. The clasp snaps and that snap assures me that my phone is going to be okay. and it was. 5 STARS!

I bought this for my honeymoon in Hawaii and was a little worried at first. Threw the phone in the case and dove in! The phone stayed totally dry and took some fantastic shots. Even got pictures of the turtles I swam with, which made me glad I bought the case! Well done!

I bought this for a trip to Hawaii and I could not be happier with the product. You will need to download a app for pictures/videos (easy instructions to follow) and keep your phone unlocked all the times while in the case. The pictures and videos are amazing!! Honestly, it is worth its price. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic purchase! Well worth the price. I took this on vacation and used it every single day. We not only used it while snorkeling, but also for scuba diving. It worked so well and gave us some fantastic underwater pictures. I highly recommend this!
