Tiny Mak
The first one I received would not focus -- seemed that the focus barrel had become disconnected from the mechanism. Returned for replacement -- new one works very well. This is a tiny Mak scope with a long focal length, and the supplied zoom eyepiece has a very limited field of view. It works, but it's not very good. I ordered the 1.25" eyepiece adapter, and I use eyepieces in the 25-32mm focal length range. With this limitation, this little scope shows .22 caliber bullet holes clearly at 50 yards, and fits neatly in my range bag. The supplied tripod is surprisingly sturdy. Within limitations, it's a good piece of range kit.

Pretty good especially for the price
Very good scope for the price. I bought the one with the table top tripod since I already have a full sized tripod. The scope is solid and provides clear views across the entire zoom range although getting the focus just right at 75X is tricky as you need to very delicately rotate the focus knob to get the focus just right. Luckily the focus knob is very smooth. My recommendation would be to get the SVBONY SA404 M48 to M42 Adapter since this gives you the option to use standard 1.25" eyepieces which will ultimately improve your viewing experience as opposed to the zoom eyepiece that comes with the scope. There's a few minor issues like the secondary mirror being sloppily cemented to the objective lens so you can se some glue around the secondary mirror when looking from the front of the scope. This has no impact on the image though. For a little over $100 it's pretty good and really have no issues with the image quality at all. For daytime spotting this is great. It's got sharp views across the entire zoom range. Astronomically however, it's just barely passable as the exit pupil diameter is very small so the moon looks decent but anything else is pretty washed out as far as details.

Difficult to focus
We purchased this product to capture images of marine life. We followed setup instructions to watch or take images of seabirds, dolphins, etc. as seen from our beachfront condo's balcony. We found it virtually impossible to focus on sea life targets. After several attempts over several days, we returned this item for a refund.

Good scope, bad sample?
This is an attractive and handy-sized Maksutov spotting scope, and SVbony has a pretty good reputation among amateur astronomers for selling quality gear at a low price. I’ve got several of their eyepieces, three exceptional dielectric mirror diagonals, and a finderscope. I’ve read positive reviews at the Cloudy Nights forum and I assumed this little mak would make an excellent range scope. But when I set it up for a test, I found that the images were very soft and lacking in contrast, even when I substituted a high quality eyepiece (30mm Brandon) for the supplied zoom. I did a test with my laser collimator and found some serious alignment problems as well as a lot of lens flare. It may well be that I just got a bad sample, but I decided to return it rather than exchange it.

has potential, poor quality control
The views were nice, but it was put together crooked and the seal was pinched and flaking and probably no longer waterproof. Would have exchanged but that option wasn't available. Returned, and to repurchase I no longer could use the coupon.

Dark and alittle blurry
A Very shallow depth of field makes it very hard to focus. Very hard. Dark, this being a reflector telescope it’s supposedly a brighter image. IT AIN'T! very dissapointing. I did a side by side test with a Gosky 20-60x60 Spotting Scope. Though the Gosky is only 20x to 60x power, it is bright and a deep depth of field making focusing a whole lot better/easier. Both of these scopes have identical tripods. So it comes down to power vs brightness vs focussing. I chose Gosky because my targets 🎯 are between 50 ft to 75 ft. (15yds - 25yds.) So Gosky get close but a wide view for rifle scope alignments and seeing acouple targets on a 8x10 sheet of paper. So the Gosky gives a wider field of view since its only 20x where as this scope is 25x . if ur doing 50yd targets 🎯 u may need this to tighter images @ those distances. But thier gonna be darker, way darker. Y'all will have to shoot in full sunlight to see your POI. Your choice, I made mine. Do a side x side test youself to decide.

Clear and stable, excellent spotting scope
Sharp image all the way out to 75x. Large exit pupil made it easy to use at high power. Desk stand is solid. I was able to easily see bullet holes on target at 100 yards. Focus is reasonable and doesn't move. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good, but question quality control during assembly
Very clear all the way to 75X, lightweight, nice tripod, easy to focus. Haven't used it at the range yet, but I'm sure it'll be good at identifying hits on target. The QC issue I bring up is with the larger inner reflecting mirror. When viewed from the objective end, the mirror has a good deal of "lint" or something similar scattered over the mirror surface. It doesn't appear to affect scope view quality, but had the scope been assembled in a clean room this wouldn't happen... Not sure if other brands at the same price have this "issue"...
