Baby Chef Six Bottle Sanitizing Steamer (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I have been using this bottle sanitizer for about 6 month now and I really like the ease of use and the versatility of this sanitizer. I would highly recommend this item to new mommies that wants something quick and easy but also does a very good job. You should use filtered water when you are steaming the bottles or else the bottom of the steamer will have fluoride piling up making it hard to clean. I use this steamer to sanitize Dr. Brown bottles and Medela breast pump accessories & bottles and it works perfectly. Actually after a few times of use and knowing how to pile up the bottles and accessories... I was able to fit a lot into one steaming session. Anyhow, all in all a very good and smart buy for mommies.

If you do not put enough water the bottom of it burns and that creates a brown film on the bottles and nipples.

This is the 3rd bottle sanitizer that I own. I do find this sanitizer pretty convenient. The previous one that I had could only hold up to 5 bottles, and this one could hold up to 6 bottles with the removable rings at the bottom. As my baby grows older, we no longer sanitize bottles, so having these removable rings are handy. I use Dr. Brown bottles and other brand glass bottles. All of them fit fine. The material and built seems sturdy. For this price, I think it's worth it.I read that some people complaint about rusting bottom and having molds. This is actually very common for all sanitizers. You would have to empty out the residual water each time after you are done. If you leave a pot of water sitting in there, in a long run, it would rust. If you take this extra step every time, this should last you for a while. I usually use a towel to wipe clean the bottom of the sanitizer each night before going to bed and leave it air dry. It's probably not a good idea to leave it moist all the time and bacteria could grow.One complaint that I have is the top opening. After sanitizing the bottles, if you open up the hood and put it upside down, the water would leak out from the top of the hood. But again, this is a common thing among many sanitizers. There must be a hole within the hood to let the steam out while sanitizing. For this price, I think this is a good product.

I live in a tropical moist climate and mold is prevalent here. I have NOT had any mold in this unit nor rust like some of the other reviewers. I use filtered water in it only, from my Brita water filter pitcher. I also empty out the little water left over after every sterilizing session. Maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, it's a good sterilizer, does it's purpose. It fits my Dr. Browns bottles nicely, Medela breast pump parts, pacifiers, & bottle brushes.

So wish I had one of these with my first child. So quick and easy.. Just put bottles in, hit start and walk away. Makes feeding and pumping less of a chore. Water gets yuck on burner. Have to clean it up a couple times a day but it takes less time than washing bottles ever did!! I still find I have to hand wash my bottles every couple of days because it still gets that oily build up some. Overall... Awesome item!!

best product ever. I am so happy to have it, makes me feel I am doing something right for my baby. I use everyday, turns off by itself. You can see it works because you see the steam coming out and you could feel and see, that my baby bottles are clean and perfect to use. Very easy to use just make sure you clean the base after a few uses, is better and more healthy. All sizes bottles fit and is just excellent. I also purchase the bottle heater by ten dollars and is so easy to heat my baby bottles you know in the middle of the night you just wake up and you have this wonderful items that just make your life so much easier by clean and heating my baby bottles is just wonderful love it. I would recomend to anyone I am so excited and happy with this products that this is the first time I actually leave a feedback.

its big and can hold lot of bottles .. it sanitizes good. cleans well you need good counter space for it..

Im on my second child and with my first I had to wash all the bottles, then boil them for 10 min and only a few would fit at a time in the pot so it took forever....with this child I bought this thing and I would pay 2 times more for it. So easy, all you do is add 2/3 cup water and turn it on. about 15 min later they are done. Yah it only does 9 bottles at a time but the top rack holds so much. I put 6 bottle nipples with rings, 5 binkies and the attachements to my breast pump all in at once with the 6 bottles and had no problems!! Would buy it again and deff recommend it!
