Fovitec StudioPRO Product Photography Lighting 30" Light Tent Softbox Cube

Be sure to check out the dimensions under Product Details! I ordered the 16" size, and was so surprised to see that it's not a foot on any direction -- then figured out, oh, 16" diagonal. Who measures cubes on the diagonal?! Then, because I would like to have a REAL 16" cube, I looked at the next size up, the 24" - and guess what? Dimensions in Product Details are 12"! How ridiculous. The 30" cube is really the 16" cube I thought I wanted from these folks. 1 star initial rating.UPDATE 12-11-2014 I contacted FOVITEC and they promptly responded - they sent a return label and a replacement cube. Wonderful customer service. While the replacement cube is still not a full 16" - closer to 14", it suits my needs and I am happy. I am taking photos of jewelry and need a relatively small cube, but with enough maneuver room for repositioning items easily. I don't have any explanation for their measurements in product details - except to guess that this is the folded down / shipping size?

It does it's job. Everyone else's comments on the inserts are right though. Throw them out and buy something with wrinkle free fabric or prepare for a lot of ironing! I use it constantly for knife photography and it gets the job done.

I bought this to shoot product pictures for my Amazon business. Works great. The front cover works good to block out background light that can taint the picture. The softbox leaves room to adjust the subject even with the front door on. It helped me to get just the right pics that now grace my product page. One suggestion, the different color backgrounds are great but need to be ironed so they don't show up in picture. I suggest they come rolled on a tube both for shipping and storage.

I was so exited for this product, but sadly I cannot recommend it. Here is why:• When the cube is set up, the bottom is not touching the table, so I have to put a thick book and a white piece of paper so the cover of the book does not show on the bottom• The colored clots that can be fixed are wrinkly. I've tried ironing but it still not good.• The lights are to heave, prone to fall on the table easily.What I do now is stick some poster paper on the wall and I only use the lights.

This is a well-built photography 'stage' and it folds up and becomes its own packaging, complete with pockets to carry other gear. The build quality is very good, and it will last a long time.

I really don't like the lip at the bottom, it make shooting the bottom of a piece harder to do, the screens do not fit as well as they should, Velcro is sewn in strangely... But other wise it is a nice piece for the money.

I use them at home after work, to take some interesting and nice pictures of my plants and other small stuff. I have to say that I really don't make the best use of them. They are very professional products. The softbox diffuses the light output evenly, making my pictures look perfectly beautiful. I only use the white background and the black one, so I give the other two to my friend. He uses it happily in his studio.

It is exactly what I need. The four color backgrounds allow me to do a variety of pictures, which makes me happy. The backgrounds came with wrinkles but pretty easy to steam them away. I can set it up in a minute and put it back without hassle. I use it with StudioPRO 2 Light Photography Table Top Photo Studio Lighting Kit for my ebay and etsy photos. A must have item for ebay/etsy sellers.
