Fits and charges. Works for 3-4 hours as expected in this computer. Was not any better with new original batt. Well update after more use.

Loved the price laptop don't die as quick does work and stay charged but still goes dead eventually just not as fast. Ended up adding a power inverter just because I wanted to have battery power constantly. Now as for ya home if you using your dell at home this battery would be perfect as long as you charge the battery an hour or so later still dies just not as quickly. The previous battery would be dead in about 5 minutes unhooked from the electrical outlet. Get what you pay for. So is the battery worth it yes to me it is. But in a car current is different that's DC current so having power was a must on just the battery Was only able to record data till the battery died in the vehicle.

As with every laptop battery follow the recommend procedure for initial charge and conditioning. This was in stock at our local warehouse and was delivered the next day. Been holding its charge well and performing great.
