So far it's great
I've only had this comforter for two days, so I will update this in a few months. But I'm liking it a ton so far! I've always wanted a down comforter. But for some reason have never gotten one. I've done the alternative type down stuff and it ended up being awful after only two years (if that) of owning it. Stuffing ended up just going to the bottom.I don't think that I'll happen with this down one though! The stitching is hearty seeming and the fabric is rather nice and much more durable than I thought it would be. I'm sure it will happen sometimes, but I don't foresee feather pokes being that bad considering the durability of the casing. When it arrived, it was much flatter than I thought it would be. I threw it in the dryer and it definitely fluffed up and ended up being not nearly as flat as some reviews said it to be. Also, on the second day now and it has also fluffed up some more!Mine did not come with a weird scent at all. It came with what you would expect a down comforter to smell like I guess (all my new down pillows have smelled like this too). I just sprayed it and the duvet cover with some essential oils and it'll be fine!Yes, it does have a crinkle sound to it when you move. And I looooove it. That doesn't bother me at all, and I've always thought that was just a typical thing with down comforters. Every 5 star hotel I've been at has the crinkle sound too! So I don't get the complaints. I think it's a cozy sound! Only thing kind of funny about it is when my toy poodle is trying to get comfy, you can hear all his steps lol. Again, cozy and cute sound! :pI'm also happy to see that the tag on the actual comforter does say it is machine washable and dryer safe. Huge bonus in my book! Our dogs sleep with us every night, and I'm about to pop out or first child, so being able to wash this bad boy is a huge bonus! I will say though, I will only wash ours at the laundry mat unless I get an agitatorless washer. I would not advise sticking this in a washer with an agitator as it will be prone to tearing!!!!The corners DO have sewn in parts for a duvet cover to be tied to and so far it works great! I'm very happy about this simple added feature. And regarding heat, when I used the comforter without a duvet cover, it was very hot! But right now as I lay under it with a duvet cover on, I'm not hot! Just cozy. And I live in socal and don't have AC and it's currently 68° out. I think this will be great for both warm and cold months!I did get a king sized because we are eventually getting a king bed, but currently have a queen. I would recommend a king size for those who have queens and like overhang or have beds that are higher off the ground! Not sure how this king will look on an actual king bed though (extra 16inches of bed will make the over hang pretty short on the sides I think).I'm attaching pics of the comforter without a duvet cover and with a duvet cover. I'll update them in a few months hopefully with good news still!

Comfort worth every penny
As a 29 year old man who is barely able to keep up the facade of being an adult on my best days I did not realize what I was missing by not having a true down comforter. This product is amazing - so comfortable and warm, yet breathable. I still hate vegetables and I often forget my keys in astounding places, but I sleep like an adult now anyway.

1 STARS Warm and poofy
I've had this a short time so if my experience changes I'll update.-No bad odor.-Very warm and poofy. Putting a cover on will increase the warmth your comforter provides.-Minimal crunchy sound. I can see if this is your first down comforter the sound might be odd.-Has cotton loops at the corners so you can attach it to the cover's corners. This helps you to keep it positioned inside the cover. Not all covers have ties or loops and you have to chase the comforter around inside the cover to straighten it.-I haven't tried to wash it yet. Usually I machine wash my down comforters.11/17/16- update. Down grading to 2 stars!A lot of cute fluffy feathers/down with mother sharp long quill ends. It's like they left the quills too long. I talking quills that are stripped free of feather material. Need a high count and quality cover for this comforter.1/8/17- Down grading to 1star. Would not buy again. Not using any longer.

I find it comfortable I have it in a nice quality duvet so ...
I read the reviews on this comforter I ordered it being skeptical... No it is not 100% pure down but it doesn't claim to be. I find it comfortable I have it in a nice quality duvet so pokey feathers are not an issue if your not laying on top of it. I sometimes hear a slight rustling noise but nothing that would keep me up or wake me up. This comforter washed up nice as I washed it before use I did hang it dry after a 10 min fluff in a low heat dryer. I'm so pleased I bought one for my son as a gift. He loves his too!! Of coarse I didn't tell him it's not full down. Lol The quality is here and I have spent much more for lesser quality.

Down Comforter
I bought this comforter in 2012 for a bed in a dorm room. I put a Jersey duvet cover over it and fluffed it up and it's literally like a marshmallow on my bed. Every time I have friends over I get compliments on how comfortable it is. I live in Georgia and during the summer months, it can be a little too warm when it reaches 90+ degrees outside, but otherwise it is a great temperature and weight. It does make a little bit of a crunchy sound when you move it, but it has never woken me up or disturbed me at all. I actually have grown to like the sound! In terms of the feathers, I have been poked a few times by feathers sticking out, but again, it doesn't happen enough to bother me. I am moving next year and have a different size bed so I came back to buy another one of these to fit my new bed and I am shocked by the reviews! Maybe the product has changed, but the comforter I have has been absolutely wonderful.

Let me start by saying I love this comforter
Let me start by saying I love this comforter!! I read all the reviews and was shocked people had complained about the crinkly noise lol. That's what drew me to this comforter. I have owned 3 in my life time and all make this noise. It's like home sweet home. I bought a new bed so I had to get all new bedding because we went from queen to King. I first bought a down alternative comforter I will never do that again! It was soft but to soft I would wake up to it in the floor. So here I am and instant happiness with this amazing NATRUAL comforter. This comforter regulates body heat much better than the alternitive style comforters. I'm glad I came to look thank you I am super happy with this item!!

Excelente

It’s feather not down. It says 5% down. If you want down expect to pay a fortune.
It seems just fine. It’s a feather duvet and I got what I paid for. I guess the true test is going to be how it washes up. I use it in a duvet cover so I won’t be washing it any time soon. I think it’s worthwhile because it is washable. At least it says it’s washable. An expensive “down” duvet would end up costing a fortune and plus dry cleaning. It’s not something I can afford so if this last a couple years I can just get another one of same quality and still be ahead of the game and cost much less and what “I” can afford.

Love this duvet
This is an awesome duvet! I don’t like lightweight duvets because I prefer the “poofyness” and the warmth of a thick duvet. I would prefer heavier but it really is a great duvet.
