Good quality green tea, although tea bags are lower quality then original picture. Great taste! Beautiful green leaves

This is a mild tasting green tea, if you don't steep it to long. Tea is a personal taste, it depends on how you like it. Made correctly this is a clear, light green color tea. I like the mesh tea bags because they leave no added taste as some paper bags do. I do take the string off as that also can leave a flavor. As with any food product this is a personal thing depending on your taste sensitive taste buds. Cost wise it is comparable to other quality teas.

Good tasting tea.

Some of the teabags have the strings a but stuck to them... a bit of a hassle to pull them apart. But it's a great tasting mild tea with a nice amount of caffeine, perfect for my desk job, keeps me on and focused without any burnout. Very nice.

If YOU enjoy your tea tasting like warm water then DO buy this tea. No flavor, no scent , just a lot of nothing. I'm 72 years old and love my green tea. I drink 2-3 cups of green tea a day. Been enjoying every sip now since I was in my early 40's. It's what puts a smile on my face. I've been buying Yumi, gunpowder green tea on Amazon. I found their tea to have a full flavor and a robust scent. The fragrant tea aromas waft through my kitchen each morning. Try this test on any tea your drink. Unwrap a curled leaf, as I often do, to see for yourself the intense color and distinctive lovely fresh fragrance. That's a tea lover's confirmation of quality. Yesterday, I tried a different green tea: Vahdam. No comparison. I cut open the small tea bag and examined the leaves. Brittle and lacking any umami fragrance. What a dud! Happy with purchase.

Just got my first batch of these. Here's a rundown of my first cup: - 10 oz. Brita-filtered water, boiled in Cuisinart Perfect Temp Kettle for "Green Tea," 175 degrees Farenheit setting. Steeped for 5 minutes (I like my tea strong). - Color: pale yellow - Flavor: light grassy, sweet, floral -- VERY different from Japanese heavy-earthy green tea flavor - Tea Leaves: not quite as full and long as loose leaf, not quite the dusty "tips" of other inexpensive brands. More like a chopped up loose leaf. Bonus for the USDA organic certification. Overall, a nice evening cup of tea in the winter for me, and definitely a tasty green tea. It's also nice that the company seems invested in its farmers, even though it's not fair trade certified. My big issue with the tea is the packaging. I wouldn't mind having this same volume of tea packaged in a tin can or big sealable bag. I believe the individual packaging is somewhat wasteful, even if their intentions are good in preserving individual flavor. And the pyramid bags. Jeez, nylon? Steeping a synthetic polymer (read: plastic) in hot water somewhat defeats the purpose of buying an organic product. If you do buy these tea bags in 100 packs like I did, you might just want to cut open the tea bags and empty them into a tea ball infuser. If Vadham was looking to improve the packaging, I'd encourage non-bleached pyramid bags. If those interfere with freshness, just give us the large sealable bag of loose leaf tea. Surely if we're willing to spend $30 on 100 bags of a nice quality tea, we're willing to buy $3 tea infusers to get the best drinking experience too.
