Nice tool, does the job. Can rearrange any single bending wedge or even two of them. Nice feature for especially complex pieces.

I have been pleased with the Eastwood product lines. Dependable, consistent quality you can depend on. This mini metal brake is no exception, being painted also helps keep from rusting in my field service van.

The first photo shows the thin (20 gauge?) sheet metal I bent with this to make a bracket. It has a couple of rolled beads, which I didn't expect to pose any problem. However, the brake finger edges were deformed by the beads, as can be seen in the second photo. I expected the fingers to be hardened and tempered so that they're tougher than the material being bent, but when I tested them with a file I found no evidence of any heat treatment -- the file bit right into the finger steel. Skimping on such a simple and low-cost manufacturing step really limits the value of this tool. I was very disappointed.

Very good product. Easily folded sharp,tight 90 degree angles on 1/8" x 1" cold rolled steel flat stock for custom brackets I needed to fabricate. Good,strong magnet hold these to the vise jaws. While happy, I do feel that this item is somewhat overpriced for what it is.

This works perfectly for bending small flat stock. As is usual with these kinds of accessories, a heavier vise is better.

I used this item for bending shelf brackets with a 5" vise. It made an excellent bend.
