This was so fun at the beach and also at the creek for water play. We caught lots of fish and (unfortunately) jellyfish and were able to release them alive back into the water. It’s durable except the top came off and I just tied it back on. Great for kids.

This is possibly one of the best “ critter containers “ we have ever had. And with my son, trust me, we’ve had a ton. The durability of this plastic and the rope handle is incredible. The plastic is super thick so you don’t have to worry about it crushing in, and the handle material is super thick. We have had this thing FULL of water with a trout in it and it worked perfect. We’ve had crabs, toads, frogs, butterflies, bugs, I mean everything in this thing. I love it. Only “ negative “ thing I would have to say is, the lid is a little tricky to snap on, for me sometimes & especially my kids, but I’m not complaining too much because you don’t want it popping off wash when your kids just spent 45 minutes chasing the said butterfly inside it lol. Overall, it’s easy to say this is on of the best purchases I’ve ever even made on Amazon!!

This was so fun! We had a great time in Florida with this toy. We caught a jelly fish and the kids could see it from all sides. It’s a have to have for the beach. Love it! Great quality and perfect size for traveling.

We used it at the beach for the first time recently. It was great at collecting ghost crabs and being able to see them. My biggest grief is the lid. It appears hot glue was used to connect the lid to the handle and that has come off. I fear we might lose the lid and I’ll need to hot glue it on again. A better way to keep the lid on should be looked into.

This made the perfect gift to my son for our Spring Break trip to the beach. It is such a simple but cool design. We have always enjoyed catching and releasing the creatures we find on the beach, but normally have done so in a typical bucket. This was much more fun as it was transparent and we could view our catch from every possible angle. It is lightweight and has a reliable handle for carrying without worry that the lid will come off by accident. The vented lid is handy and the size was just perfect for us as we caught several crabs and other little critters and could observe them and then easily release them back to the sand or ocean where we found them. We also used it a few times simply to carry shells we found. It is a nice way to carry them and then easily wash them off without dragging back a bunch of sand to the condo. I would definitely buy this again as our kids loved it and I had some other beachgoers ask about it hoping to get one themselves. It seems to be really well made and durable and I expect we will use this many times through the years. It is really a great find!

My 7 year old daughter loves this clear plastic catch and release lightweight bowl with breathable lid. It has a sturdy grip handle made with thick waterproof durable rope. I don’t see this rope snapping! The best part is, it is a perfect size for a lid, light weight for her to carry even when full of water and she no longer has to use a large plastic opaque bucket. She can see her catch swimming around in her new bucket which makes her happy! When the water gets dirty, she can keep the lid on and drain the water and fill back up with cleaner clearer water. Genius! The best part is the breathable lid that is tied on, as not to lose it on her long frogging/fishing hunts to the meadows. With a breathable lid, the pond frogs can no longer jump out of their container. They can jump high out of the shallow water in her tall 5 gallon high buckets! Now that she has this snazzy new container, it’s a bummer for them and awesome for her after her efforts of netting those frogs. Just a longer day for them in captivity until she releases them. Great price and a new favorite addition to her catch and release days.

My grandchildren , 4 of them ages 3- 10 got a lot of use and enjoyment out of these. I bought two. They were used at the beach and the first thing they " caught" and examined, were mole crabs. It was easy for them to use. One reveiwer noted not to leave it in the sun in the car window as it could warp. so we were careful to not do that. These buckets were in the sun in the sand and water all day with out warping or falling apart.

Kids love it. Super sturdy.

Lo usamos en la playa para pescar y observar pequeños peces y sirvió tmb para atrapar cangrejos y que los niños los pudieran ver de cerca. Los animales fueron regresados sin daño a su hábitat. Es una esfera de plástico y la tapa está sobrepuesta no cierra hermético pero no se necesita tampoco. Me parece algo que cualquier familia con niños pequeños que les guste salir al aire libre a pasear debe de tener. Los pequeños lo disfrutan mucho.
