Happily confused
What can I say - I am very much confused. But happy. So, imagine, you get a package with 12 servings which come in 2 blocks of 4 cubes each. Total weight is as described on the package. Even slightly more. I interviewed the math tutor next door and she explained the real serving size is 2/3rd or 66% of one of these cubes. Then I complained about this crazy math and how to cut these square cubes into 66% and 33% to my neighbor on the other side which is a former principal and she told me these cubes in the package are 6/4th resp. 50% more than a service size and I should take them for 150% and add to the recipe quantities always 50%. I took my calculator app and true, the serving size is 66% but the cube size is 150%. How can any rational being understand such a math? How is it first 66% and then 150% and yes suddenly somehow both is true? Just depending on which neighbor you ask? Then I asked my wife what to do. She never cooks so I asked her last but she told to calm down and better to first read the recipes. I did. I always do what she says, I am her husband. According to recipes you might invite your relatives and cook for 12 persons using the full pack. Or alternatively you should take 4 cubes what is then suddenly half pack (true...) and cook for 6. Didn't even know Japan had so much people around, heard their villages are empty. But ok, maybe they invite somebody from the cities for using curry cubes? I thought this is a very traditional and old brand and stuff but how can Japanese people deal with such confusing facts and such complicated math? And do they always have 12 or 6 people around, when I am here alone with my wife? Finally I got mad and gave up with that Japanese math. Seems I am just not really born for that. Simply cooked some vegetables in my kadai and put that stuff inside. Just as much as it seemed to be ok. And wow! What a wonderful taste! Wife happy, I am finally happy, and I promise to never read that crazy math thing descriptions again. But guys, that price for that stuff is really something. If I do THAT math, it makes me even more mad. I get it it is imported and so on, but ... seems I have to wait for next festival offers.

Authentic Japanese curry at home
Absolutely love this !! We last had an authentic katsu curry in Bali and this is as close to that as it can be . The curry is rich & delicious. This 1 packet lasts me a while since I use only 1-2 cubes at a time . It makes the curry pretty thick so def don’t use the whole thing at one go unless you are making a massive batch .

Great Japanese Curry
This is one of the popular and best available Japanese curry cube in Japan. It’s so nice that it is also available in India through Amazon. However, the price here is little high ! Since it is from Japan , no problem ! This is in cube form so very convenient! Can be used with vegetables and also with all kinds of meat . It has great flavor! Only danger is you may get addicted to Japanese curry ! It is very easy to prepare unlike our masala this cubes are put at the end just before 5-10 minutes before the it is ready . Lots of YouTube guidelines are available to explore ! Very good for elderly people too.

Japanese katsu curry - easy to make with vegetables or meat.
Authentic Japanese curry, will mimick maggi flavour but that's how it's meant to be. Onions, potatoes, carrot and chicken is all you need to make this curry and it will be yummy. Make the curry thick or runny as your liking. Read others asking about having this with noodle or roti. That's a big no. Only have this curry with cooked plain white rice. If possible try with katsu chicken, katsu pork or tempura prawns as an accompaniment. Even braised beef would taste good.
