Thank goodness for this little gadget!!!! I knew my children dropped a bottle cap in our sink and instead of taking it apart to get it out, I figured I would see if this tool did the trick. I had no clue there was a toothbrush and a little toy in there too!! It did take some time to grasp the toothbrush since it was handle side up, and I couldn’t see what it was until I was able to yank it out! The prongs are very thin, however they still grabbed it all out in about 10 minutes! I would highly recommend this for everyone, since it’s such a versatile tool! The light worked great too, and I’m hoping it will continue to do so! (Some reviews I read said the light didn’t work or stopped working after minimal use.) either way, it’s still a great product in my opinion!

It grabs. It magnetizes. It lights up. I use it all the time with my butter fingers. The light is a very nice touch and I use it way more than I thought I would. It is a little bulky so don't expect it to get into super tight spaces. You'll still need to keep your magnet on a wire but this is a decent upgrade that does not hurt to have.

Because of arthritis and other physical limitations, my husband can no longer bend down to pick things up. So we have ended up putting reachers in almost every room in the house. But they are bulky and get in the way many times - even the ones that fold in half. I saw this little gem on Amazon and knew we had to try it. It is perfect for picking up those little things that are hard to pick up with larger reachers. The magnetic tip is a great addition, as is the flexibility of the reacher. We dropped our keys between the car seats and could NOT get them out. This little reacher did the trick! The flexibility and size also allows us to handily keep in the car or even take to work. I think we need to buy a couple more!

Love it. Save me a lot in the engine area or other narrow area with lights and Magnets. It was ok, but it just broke on me on the handle aera (Thread was broken and not fixable.) I can only use as magnet reach but I would like to buy sturdier one now.

I always knew I wanted one of these but couldn't even think of what it was called until I heard a guy in the store ask if they had one. Came back and bought one for myself. Thing is phenomenal, the grip is immense, so much so that you should definitely resist the urge to grab any part of a human, yourself or otherwise. But in the few months I've had it I was able to use it from fishing a stink bug out of my pellet smoker hopper to locating a 3/8" socket that got lost in my bumper during a hitch install. Great tool and I'll probably get a few for convenience sake.

Well I opened the box and thought, O wow, It looks Great. Thats where it ended. It grabs and holds wonderful and tight with the fingers,, the magnetic portion was disappointing and its not the best hold or grab, Depending on the angle you are touching the other item, The light is not bright at all and is not worth a thing unless the fingers are out so unless you know what you are grabbing and how to get to it the light will not illumination the tip of the probe until you release the fingers, Very poor design

Though wider on the bottom, the claw is bigger, the light is bright (old tool no light or magnet) and it easily lifted my 4 oz weight, even on it's edge. 8oz was too heavy. I'd guess it would lift 6oz with a large flat surface. Last picture shows old claw was not big enough to grab the same 4 oz weight the new tool could grab with the claw. Tool looks well made. I added a drop of oil to the top, as there seems to be a little friction in the plunger.

This is one of those rare purchases where what you get is of significantly higher quality that the price would imply. Almost immediately after receiving delivery of this item, I was able to put it to good use. A bottle cap fell down the drain, open end down, and because the spring steel claws were very sharp they were able to grip the smooth hard plastic. The light worked very well! The action of the retractor spring is smooth and very strong making manipulation very easy. I wish I'd had this tool for retreiving all the nuts and bolts dropped into dark recesses while working on my vehicles' engines over the years. I almost look forward to the next time I drop something. I recommend this item unreservedly!

I bought this tool because a change in headlight bulbs (LEDs which didn't have a good seal) had caused water to leak into my headlights and I had a lot of condensation which I couldn't get rid of. My car's headlights can only be removed after taking off the bumper so I was stuck trying to get the water out with the headlights without removing them. Many different methods failed to remove all the water but this tool and some magnets sewn into pieces of material did the trick. This tool is awesome and I'm super pleased with the purchase!

Pros: - Well made and has nice anodized finish - Can grab large objects - It's built-in LED light is adequate Cons: - Magnet is only strong enough to pick up small screws or nails. Picking up bolts is problematic.

This is one of those things you try inventing in your mind lol when you drop something down the sink drain, or in a hole in the wall! And you say I wish I had a small claw, that's bendable! Lol We tried 2 butter knives, a magnet taped on a skewer, nope lol didn't work, but searching I find this on amazon, buy it now lol rightaway!!! Got it 2 days later, and in a matter of seconds, we saved the brand new tooth brush in the drain of the sink lol, and Peppa Pig from a hole in the door, and iron man in the wall, it's worth it this great tool!!! It has a light on the end as well is magnetic, and the claw comes out when you push what looks like the plunger on a syringe down then ease up on it until it grabs the item and your in business! I love this tool!!! I might order a second one incase the kids drop it down a hole lol.
