Brock Headlight for 1994-2001 Ram 1500 w/o Sport Package for 1994-2002 Ram 2500 55076748AD Set CH2502101

Got Brock Replacement Set, Driver and Passenger Halogen Headlights with Corner Lamp for my 2001 Ram 3500. They came packaged well enough to withstand the FedEx delivery. They are free of defects and passed a brief flex test at all connection points. Set comes with 9004 halogen bulbs, and bulb retention nuts. I didn't use either as I went with Fahren 9004/HB1 LED Headlight Bulb. The stock bulb retention nuts worked better due to the placement of the wires on these LED's. Tip: Watch some videos because there is very little clearance between the fender/quarter panel and bumper. Remove the corner lamp lens (one phillips screw) to facilitate the rotation necessary to remove and install the assembly. Some people remove the bumper. I loosened the bumpers' corner brackets and applied downward pressure at the ends of the bumper. These braces are located on the inside corners of the bumper and lead down to the frame. Removing the bolts (2-one on each end at the frame) allows a much easier install and you wont scratch your paint. When your done, test the light beam pointing. Don't be that idiot who has the lights pointing at on coming traffic, or cross-eyed, or up towards the sky. Mine required a quarter turn down and the drivers side needed a half turn out. The light pattern is nice with no black spots while keeping the stock appearance.

After struggling unsuccessfully to remove the old headlamps, I did remove the plastic bumper trim (took about10 minutes) and found that I could remove the old units and install the new units without disassembly. Seriously, it took less than 10 minutes to install both new headlamps once I removed the bumper trim piece and the extra 1.5" clearance made removal and installation a snap. Build quality is excellent and the fit was perfect! New headlamp alignment was acceptable from the factory and only minor adjustment was necessary, easily done with a Philips screwdriver. WARNING***** the are plenty of YouTube videos on how to install these units, some are very good and others may not apply to your truck model. I will upload an image of the black plastic trim piece I removed to make installing these a snap on my 1996 Ram 1500 SLT. One retaining screw on each wheel well and a series of retaining clips (accessible from the top) and the trim piece was easily removed. This gave me the needed clearance to Easily install the new units!

These are a great product. They came very quickly actually the next day after I ordered them. They fit perfect they look just like the factory ones. The parking light is part of the assembly there attached although they are separate pieces but for ease of installation they do have them attached which is a plus. You have to use your old turn signal lamp however the headlights came with the highbeam low beam bulb already installed. Installation was very easy. They look to be very Hi Quality and I’m extremely pleased. The price point is great I expected to pay a lot more for these lights and thankfully I found them as a pair for less than I figured I would’ve paid for one of them. Highly recommend them. OK

These lights seem to be fantastic. Exact match of the factory ones with no obvious defects and well built of good materials. I gave four stars instead of five only because the weatherstrip is slightly long (use your old weatherstrip and be careful of the plastic trim screws holding it because new ones are not included). The bulbs are included but are not Sylvania. There are no install tips. One reviewer states he had to "drop his bumper," and i found out why, the hard way! I didnt drop my bumper so I had difficulty getting the new mounting bracket into place. If you are replacing factory lights, use the old mounting bracket assuming it is in good condition. The corner light, primary light, and mounting bracket disassemble quite easily into 3 parts. Second, install your new bulbs prior to installing the center light. While the corner lights are no problem to swap or install bulbs, it was hard for me to install the hi/lo beam bulb after I installed the light completely. My truck had the original Sylvania bulbs from 1997, so I had never had to change them. Most 9004 headlight bulbs have an inner groove which isn't nearly as obvious as the outer set of grooves. These inner grooves must line up for the bulb to be properly seated in the primary lamp. Third, prior to bolting in the mounting bracket fully, pull the bracket out some so you can reach the clips over the headlight screws. They are troublesome to place if your mounting bracket is fully bolted in. In other words, if using the new brackets, dont bolt them in prior to sliding in the lamps. That allows you to get to all the clips easily. These few simple instructions should be included by the company for people that may not know. I dont recall any instruction sheet at all for the do it yourselfer. I also recommend that you purchase high quality bulbs seperately if you want maximum visibility. The included bulbs may be fine, but these lights are such a great deal that the bulbs cant be very expensive ones. I hope that these tips will help some people. Personally, I had read the reviews that said easy install and dove right in at almost dark, and I didnt consider using my old mounting bracket on the first light; so sure enough, I scratched the bumper cover. Perhaps watch a video if your factory lights have never required anything or you have not installed headlights before. That said, these lights really are great, all the plastic is durable as well as the lenses. A great safety upgrade and a high quality bargain....... Updated note... ....subsequent to me writing my review above, one of the lights began accumulating moisture due to a bad seal between the lens and black plastic, but I was refunded and reordered a different brand through the same third party seller, same price range and bottom line ..the other brand wasnt boxed as pretty, and the molding wasnt quite as perfect bc you could see the bonding "glue" along that same sea, .....but installed, its indistinguishable and it doesnt leak. Be interesting to see which one begins to yellow first, ...

The assemblies are easy to install and adjust they work great. after two years of daily driving they still look brand new. Worth every penny
