Majestic Premium Cocoa Powder, 32 Ounce Can (Pack of 2) with Ghirardelli Stamped Barista Spoon

I've been using Droste cocoa powder for years and as it became harder to find, I tried other brands only to send them to the garbage can. That included some varieties of Ghirardelli. Now that Droste is out of business and I've used my surplus, I went on the hunt via Amazon reviews. My 4# of cocoa powder arrived and I immediately made my hot chocolate recipe. This cocoa is darker than Droste but don't drought it's smoothness . Majestic variety has a very rich chocolate flavor that made a wonderful, rich, hot chocolate. Droste was my favorite and I'll miss it, but Majestic will be my replacement. I've already started making new creations with my 4#'s of cocoa. If you're a chocolate lover/artist, give this one a roll because I've stopped searching.

It's a little spendy depending on how you buy it, but the flavor and color are just amazing. I use this when I'm making serious chocolate cakes, muffins, etc... when cooked it's almost black it's so dark. The flavor is smooth, deep and rich. Absolutely a must for serious bakers.

Dark cocoa powder that tastes great. I wish there was information about the lead content.

I use a lot since I make my own dark chocolate syrup. Also use in baking. Ordered in bulk it is reasonably priced. I will never use another brand of cocoa and will never buy chocolate syrup.

not explicitly "concentrated", but it packs a punch flavor-wise, so a little goes a long way. this is one of those products that tempts me to write a bad review so no one else will buy it and it won' sell out...

Fantastic product for my morning hot chocolate, made with soy milk.

Since I can’t find Ghirardelli’s dutch process cocoa powder in stores anymore, I decided to give this a try. It seemed like a lot to buy at one time especially when I was used to buying 8 ounce packets in the past. Cut to me finishing my first canister in a matter of weeks and returning to buy two more! The powder is also great for chocolate pancakes, double chocolate chip cookies, and, of course, cake. Try adding a spoonful to your whipping cream before making a quick and easy chocolate mousse. The tablespoon is useful as well for measuring.
