Review: Great for Bluetti! AC200 and AC200P - My Bluetti AC200 and AC200P 'solar generators' will charge at 100 watts from a 12v source OR 200 watts if from a 24v source. I had a LiFePo4 280ah 12v pack set up that has gobs of power but would take forever to charge the Bluetti at 100 watts. I figured if I could boost the voltage from the LiFePo4 pack to 24v, then I could supply the Bluetti with 200 watts of recharge when it needed it. The large LiFePo4 battery pack is charged by 1500w of solar so it had plenty available. In short, it worked like a charm! This device supplied 204 watts of 24vdc power to the Bluetti to keep is topped off while pulling 16.8 amps from the 12v battery. I used it like this for several months without a problem and can attest that it works great; just make sure your wiring from the battery to the 12-24v booster is of sufficient gauge. I recently upgraded the battery pack to 24v so I just bought the 24v-to-48v version of this product so I can charge the Bluetti at a full 700 watts at 48v from a 24v source. Since the unit is rated at 960w (20a), I do not expect any problems at all. I'll add the review on that product once I have it for a few months. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Is 480W enough? *by J***L on December 30, 2019* Should you install a 12V solar system or a 24V solar system? If "bigger is better" why not 48V? So we wanted to install several 12V power points since we had a lot of luck with them previously. This device was the easiest way of enabling our 24V solar system to provide 12V. We also have a 12V water pump (although, I've recently discovered the same pump is available in a 24V version ) Connecting this converter to the "load" on our solar controller made it a simple matter to power the powerpoints and the water pump. The pump maxes out at 10Amps so 120W from this 480W converter should be no problem. OTOH, we have a 240V house (Aussie rules) but the 120V appliances are so much cheaper. We thought about connecting at 3000W inverter to this converter. Oops. I'm sure you see the problem.'' The converter works great.
