You get a total of four practice tests, two for the 1001 and two for the 1002. These practice tests were actually harder and more technical than the real A+ based on my personal experience. I got a score of 817 for the 1001 and a score of 789 for the 1002. I'd also recommend complementing the book with Jason Dion's practice tests. These practice tests are closer to the actual exams but like I said before, the Sybex practice tests take you beyond "just passing" the exams. Review: A lot of test prep questions and flashcards. PDF version may be better deal - This book is huge. it covers both 1001 and 1002 exam for the A+ certificate. It has problem solving questions after every chapter and tests that you can practice and also flash cards you can make. The one negative is that because this book is about 700 pages it can be hard to sift through in a timely manner. It may be better to just get the pdf version and work with Cntrl + F to find key terms and be faster.
