We do not recommend using hot steam on our product as it can generate a characteristic smell of wool.

Can I cut it down to a smaller size?

Yes, our product is customizable, you can cut it to your demanding size or attach it with some other pieces for larger space.

Why is there some black residue on my pad and fabric after ironing?

You have used a too high temperature on the mat that burns some fibers on the surface, adjust your iron to a more suitable heat and this will stop.

Does this come with a storage felt bag?
