Perfect fit - a lifesaver post surgery
This was a lifesaver after my sciatica/facet joint cyst removal surgery, as I experienced severe hip pain on sit/stand movements, especially using the toilet. Very small bathroom so couldn't do the big rack things, and wanted something easy to install. This fits perfectly on my elongated bowl toilet. It's extremely secure. I like how there are two width options for the handles, which are very nicely padded. Literally 10 min from opening the box to ready to go. The seat material is smooth and comfortable. It definitely lifts you higher so have something to put your feet on if you're shorter! So far it's staying clean and based on it's design I don't envision it would leak ever.

Good quality
I bought this raised toilet seat for after back surgery. It fit well on my toilet and seemed very secure. The height was perfect to not have to bend down too far after surgery. It was easy to install, just place on toilet and twist a knob. It felt secure every time. I did have to clean it more than my regular toilet but nothing leaked out. The handles were sturdy and comfortable to use when needed.

How to further Stabilize and Tighten
Very nice. Like the handles. As others wrote, it seemed a little too wobbly. I added additional pads to bottom. Took out all the rockiness. Also didn’t really affix very tight to elongated bowl (the knob / adjuster was at end of its length). I simply put a 1” board behind it as a spacer to allow me to tighten further. Haven’t used yet. I was just setting it up to see how it fit pre-surgery. Glad I did.

Made recovery after back surgery so much easier!
This raised toilet seat was a huge help after my back surgery. The extra height made it so much easier to sit and stand without straining, and the sturdy handles gave me the support and balance I needed. It feels very secure once locked in place, and installation was quick and simple. I don’t know how I would’ve managed those first few weeks without it. Highly recommend for anyone recovering from surgery or needing a little extra stability!

Does not fit new higher elongated toilets well
I have a Toto high toilet. It’s a newer toilet and although it looks like a typical elongated toilet, this elevated seat will not sit flush on the toilet bowl. You have to raise both the toilet seat and lip to install. When you go to screw it in to tighten it to the bowl, the back of the seat begins to rise up off the back of the toilet bowl. If you loosen the screw to have it sit flush again, it isn’t secured to your original toilet and it wobbles from side to side. I was able to get it to sit flush and secure it to a 25 year old Kohler toilet in my guest Bathroom. But I need it for the master bath. I like it’s height and side handles, so will keep it for now. Just know it doesn’t seat flatly on newer toilet models. I’ll just be aware it wobbles as a stand up. It’s in a bathroom closet with close walls, so not too worried about falling off of it. Otherwise easy to set up, easy to clean and the product itself is sturdy and appears to be well made. Very easy to use after hip replacement surgery.

Surprisingly nice!
I had to have my back surgery redone and I knew I needed a toilet seat adapter because I can’t bend or twist or lift (anything heavier than 1/2 gal of milk, so basically nothing) and last time I borrowed a friends from my last church. So I needed to get my own and didn’t have time to get insurance to do it since it was scheduled last min. So I found this one. I wasn’t too sure about it to be honest. But it was easy to install. I did have to remove both of lids from toilet (so one you normally sit on and the top closing lid) but that because I didn’t want top lid touching my back. But I will say to make it more sturdy leave the top lid on but in the up position. Mine is still sturdy even with it off, just tightened the knob in the front so it grips the front of the toilet base. I’ve used it for almost 2 weeks now and not once has it moved or slipped or rocked or nothing. My feet do NOT touch the ground and I’m 5’8”. Like I can stretch and make my tip toes touch. I will say have a footstool nearby so your feet can sit on that so your circulation in your legs don’t get off. I learned that a few days ago. I know have my hat box doing that and my legs feel better now because of that. So you do get lifted pretty high. Truly 5” for sure. It’s easy to clean too. First time using it I got iodine all over it. Just took a Clorox wipe and it came right off no problem. And iodine stains like a son of a $*+*%! But it came right off and has every single time until I could finally “bathe”. The seat itself isn’t so comfortable tho. It’s hard hard plastic with a texture feel to it. I guess so it has grip and people don’t slip since those using obviously aren’t in the best physical condition. But if you have to sit on for a Hot min, it’s not going to make a comfortable sitting experience in my opinion. That’s why I took a star away for that. They need to have some kind of padding on that seat man. Now the seat does feel like it’s shaped to fit your legs and bottom tho. And it feels like it has some curvature to it so you snugly fit on it. That’s good. Like you know you’re not going to slip on it or sit on it wrong, when you go down onto it. The handles are the whole width of the adapter and has nice PADDED (like their seat should be of some sort) arms. They are sturdy and have handled my weight pushing on them and not once have they buckled. I weigh 132lbs so I don’t know what the weight limit is for pressure being applied to it. But it held up to that with ease and I’m sure it would with way more than that with ease. It held my husbands when he tested it full force and he’s probably 180-190lbs. So overall I give it a thumbs up. Good purchase for sure.

que la vis avant pour fixer au bol de toilette se dévisse facilement ce qui rend le siège moins sécuritaire.
