I concur with other positive reviews
I concur with other positive reviews. Its a nicely made figure. Its slight flexibility actually makes it more lifelike, as I have been able to touch a ray in an approved touch tray at an aquarium. I have several other ray figures and by more than one company and this one is very nice. I know some reviewers complain about price on animal figures from Safari, I believe unrealistically, but this one is even exceptionally well priced. The more figures Safari makes, especially of unusual but real life animals, the better! I wish this had been available when I was a child.

Nicely painted.
This is a pretty nice replica, kind of metallic color with vivid blue spots. A bit more flexible than other Safari Ltd figures I have collected, but still keeps it shape well. Also, was bigger than I had anticipated. Nice figure for collectors of sea life.

Pros: • Nice representation of a blue spotted stingray • Most realistic blue spotted stingray model on Amazon • Durable Cons: • The paint on the one I got was matter than the one shown (less shine/detail) • Only had four gills on each side, which if being used for education purposes, would not be anatomically correct

Als ich den Rochen erhalten habe, war ich sehr überrascht wie deteil lgenau er verarbeitet wurde und ich fand ihn überraschen groß. Ich dachte er wäre von Schleich. Das war wohl der Fehler! Ich hatte Ihn zusammen mit dem Mantarochen von Schleich auf das Geburtstagsgeschenk meines Sohnes mit Tesafilm geklebt. Als mein den Rochen vom Geschenk abnahm , hing die halbe Farbe daran. Sehr enttäuschend. Bei dem Mantarochen von Schleich passierte es nicht. Und das wo beide von der Preisklasse gleich waren. Anscheinend wurde hier mal wieder billig produziert!! Fazit. Lieber Schleichprodukte kaufen, da erlebt man keine Überraschung. Mein Sohn will den Rochen gleich mit in die Badewanne nehmen, mal sehen ob die Farbe am Rochen bleibt oder der Rest auch noch verschwinden...... :o(
