The background of my stereo cabinet needed black paint but couldn't get there without totally dismantling the whole system. I cut pieces of this instead, and squeezed panels of it into place. - worked great. It's easy to cut (but you must cut it on a hard surface using a razor - make sure it's sharp). Another reviewer was correct whey saying they're not square (some slightly off), but I don't care, they were easy to cut to form, or I simply turned them over to butt up against each other.
